모티브는 로마 제국. 정치 체계는 절대 군주제. 모종의 방법으로 불사의 몸을 얻게 된 여황제 임페라토르 ‘티페리우스’가 통치하는 국가로, 아스트리우스의 남쪽에 위치하고 있다.
아스트리우스와는 과거부터 쭉 내려져오던 우방 관계로, 동맹까진 아니지만 방위 조약을 맺은 상태이며 현재는 레비아탄 이변으로 골머리를 썩고 있는 아스트리우스에 주기적으로 지원병을 파견하고 있다. 노바시에트 연방과는 적대 관계로 추정.
아스트리우스처럼 제신병기가 존재하며, 대표적으로 율법의 제신 테미스와 정의의 제신 유스티티아가 있다. 그에 따라 자로스 카다르 대부분의 시스템은 율법에 의해 정해져 있으며 이를 어긴자는 임페라토르의 처벌을 받게 된다.
성단방위국가 아스트리우스
성단방위국가 아스트리우스는 광대한 크기의 성단을 방위 및 통치하는 거대한 군사 국가임. 고도로 발전된 기술력과 압도적인 군사력을 지니고 있으며, 이 때문인지 군사적 계급 체계로 이루어져 있음. 아스트리우스의 영토는 우주를 떠다니는 도시 또는 행성들로 이루어졌고, 이 중 아스트리우스의 도시들은 각자 색다른 외형을 가지고 있으며, 대표적으로 수도성의 경우 함선에 가까운 외형을 띄고 있음.
성단방위국가 아스트리우스는 ‘총사령부’라 불리는 수도성의 중앙 집권 정부를 중심으로 이루어져 있으며, 총사령부의 통치자는 최고 방위관이라는 호칭으로 불리며 현 최고 방위관은 포말하우트.
이들의 수도성을 중심으로 방위 사령부라 불리는 조직들이 성단의 각 도시 및 구역을 통치하고 있으며, 이들은 기본적으로 총사령부의 통치하에 있으나 어느정도의 자치권을 행사할 수 있음.
이들은 ‘성간력’이라 불리는 고유의 년도 체계를 사용하며 현 성간력은 1600년. 성간력 이전의 년도 체계에 대해선 알려진 바 없으며, 수도성의 설립 년도를 기준으로 시작된 체계로 알려져 있음.
이들의 기술력은 상상을 뛰어넘는 수준으로, 타 지역에선 마법이라 불릴 정도로 고도화된 모습을 띄고 있음.
예시 1: 차원 장벽 - 아스트리우스의 각 구역을 나눔과 동시에 방어하기 위해 성간력 1200년에 설계된 거대한 에너지 장벽. 성간력 1년 수도성의 설립과 함께 수도성을 외부로부터 보호하도록 만들어진(?) 에너지 장벽의 연장선임.)내가 작가주제에 서술 더럽게 못해서 양해바람)
예시 2: 초광속 항행 - 성간력 200년 과학자 ???에 의해 발견된 기술이며 말 그대로 초광속으로 항행이 가능해 별들 사이를 오갈 수 있음. 이 덕분에 수십년 사이 성단의 반 가량이 방위국의 통치 하에 놓여지게 됨.
예시 3: 스텔라 스피어 - 성간력 550년 박사 ???이 고안 후, 약 35년 뒤인 성간력 585년 수도성의 항성에 성공적으로 시공되어 현 아스트리우스의 에너지 생산량 대부분을 차지하고 있는 강력한 기술. 이름만 다른 다이슨 스피어임.
예시 4: 제신병기 - 신들의 이름을 따 만들어진 초거대병기들를 부르는 명칭. 인간을 상회하는 고도의 AI가 탑재되어있어 엄청난 속도로 정보를 습득 및 학습할 수 있다. 언제 만들어졌고 누가 만들었는지, 어떠한 기술력으로 만들어졌는지에 대해선 모두 불명이며, 현재까지 밝혀진 제신병기로는 타로타로스, 우라노스, 크로노스, 에로스, 아프로디테가 있다. 이들은기본적으로 기함 형태, 인간 형태가 있으며, 레비아탄 이변 이후 이들 대다수가 알수 없는 원리로 균열에 침식되어 인류를 적대하게 되었고, 이들은 인류를 멸망시키기 위해 스스로들에게 이명을 붙이고 함체를 개조해 스스로의 인간 형태를 파괴 후 ’제신 형태‘라 불리는 형태를 창조, 스스로들을 ’심판자‘라 부르기 시작.

침식된 제신병기 중 하나.
에로스
현재까지 침식되지 않은 제신병기 중 하나이자 ‘자칭’ 사랑의 여신. 1세대 제신병기로 가장 오래된 제신병기들 중 하나이며, 기껏해봐야 인류를 ’보호‘하는 수준에만 미치는 다른 제신병기들과 달리 인류를 ’사랑‘하며, 인류를 돕기 위해서라면 뭐든지 하는 존재다. 평소엔 인간의 모습으로 다니다가 전시엔 기함 형태로 변해 맞서싸움. 인류를 멸망시키겠다고 선언한 침식된 제신병기들과는 상호 적대 관계임.
포세이돈
또다른 침식되지 않은 제신병기중 하나이자, 표면 전체가 바다로 이루어진 행성 ‘테티스 III’의 주인. 제신병기들 중에서도 강력하다고 평가받을 정도의 강자. 바다의 신으로 불리며 에로스처럼 평소엔 인간의 모습으로 다닌다. 별다른 특징이 없는 인간 형태의 에로스와는 달리 인간 형태에서도 삼지창과 물을 자유자재로 다루는 능력을 지니고 있으며, 특이하게도 기함 형태가 우주 전함이 아닌 해군 기함의 형태를 띄고 있음. 덕분에 수상전에서 우위를 가질 수 있으나, 비행할 수 없기에 테티스 III에 갇혀사는 꼴이다. 이렇게 된 이유는 제신병기 제우스 때문이라고 하며, 그래서인지 제우스의 힘을 사용하는 리시아를 제우스의 후계로 오인하고 공격하기도 함.
제우스
제신병기 제우스, 현재는 토벌된 상태. 제신병기계의 만악의 근원이며 레비아탄 이변 이전 온갖 사건들을 일으키며 피해를 주고 다니던 존재. 대표적으로 우라노스를 만들었던 행성을 통째로 날려버리거나 포세이돈을 망가뜨려 비행할 수 없게 하는 등. 심지어 레비아탄 이변 이후엔 레비아탄 편에 붙었다가, 그 사실을 알아챈 침식 전의 타르타로스에게 파괴되고, 그 코어는 아스트리우스에 넘겨짐.

오르데라의 도시이자 우주 거주구. 크기는 서울시의 약 두배가량이며 아스트리우스 전도 기준으론 꽤나 외진 곳에 존재한다. 이쪽도 마찬가지로 균열로 인해 골머리를 썩고 있지만, 다른 곳에 비해 균열의 크기가 작고 레비아탄의 수가 일정하며, 루비엘에 파견된 용병 세노아가 주기적으로 레비아탄을 토벌하고 있기에 레비아탄과 관련된 사건은 일어나지 않고 있다. 다만 이후 균열에서 갑작스래 거대한 레비아탄이 등장한 후부턴 균열의 크기가 확장되어 위험에 처했다.

델라
솔라리스 성계의 위성. 루나의 위성이며 루나의 주위를 공전하고 있음. B7 방위사령부 본부가 위치해있으며, 도시는 대체로 동유럽식의 문화를 띄고 있음.
테티스 III
??? 성계의 행성. 표면 전체가 바다로 이루어진 행성이자 제신병기 포세이돈이 위치한 곳. 원래 섬과 대륙이 존재했으나, 제우스와 스킬라에 의해 전부 가라앉아 현재는 수상도시만이 존재한다. 수중도시도 존재했으나 현재는 레비아탄으로 인해 멸망한 상태.
주요 사건
스타 킬러 사건: 성간력 336년 아르테미스라 불리는 한 과학자에 의해 일어난 사태. 평소 방위국에 반발심을 가지고 있던 아르테미스가 변방 행성에 숨어들어 총사령부 몰래 기술력을 탈취 후 역설계하여, ‘스타 킬러’ 불리는 거대한 함선 및 그의 함대를 제작해 수도성을 침략한 사태. 함대전은 약 몇개월간 지속되다가 아르테미스의 패전으로 끝났으며, 그녀는 방위국에 의해 포획되기 전 함선의 자폭 시스템을 발동해 스스로 목숨을 끊음. 이후 또 같은 사태의 반복을 막기 위해 변방 행성을 감시하는 ‘워처’라 불리는 다수의 조직이 탄생하게 되었으며, 이들은 훗날 방위 사령부의 시초가 됨.
레비아탄 이변: 성간력 1150년에 일어난 거대한 이변이자 현재도 그 여파가 끊이지 않은 사건. 자이론이라 불리는 한 방위 사령부의 사령관에 의해 일어났으며, 힘을 갈망하던 그가 초광속 항행 도중 이상한 균열에 집어삼켜지게 되고, 우연히 그 안에서 이 우주의 것과는 다른 기괴한 생물들을 마주함. 이것들을 이용해 힘을 갈취할 수 있으리라 생각한 그는 모종의 항법으로 균열을 빠져나온 뒤 잠적함. 수년 뒤 마치 마법사와도 같은 차림의 자이론이 수도성에 나타나 알려지지 않은 기술을 사용해 성단 전체의 에너지를 끌어모아 아스트리우스의 전 도시에 이상한 균열과 비슷한 균열을 발생시키고, 그 내에서 자이론이 균열 내에서 만났던 기괴한 생물들이 뛰쳐나오기 시작함. 괴물들이 뛰쳐나온 직후 자이론은 빛과 함께 그 자리에서 흔적도 없이 사라져버렸으며, 자이론이 사라진 이후에도 균열을 해결할 방법은 발견되지 않아 아스트리우스는 균열의 괴물들에게 ‘레비아탄’이라는 코드명을 부여, 수백년간 레비아탄들과 전투를 벌이게 됨. 레비아탄들이 성단 사이를 넘어다니는 것을 막기 위해 만들어진 것이 차원 장벽 기술일 것으로 추정.
레비아탄 관련 설정
균열: 자이론이 처음 발견한 ‘미지의 평행우주‘로 향하는 통로. 레비아탄들의 고향이자 멸망한 우주로, 주변에 알 수 없는 에너지를 뿜어낸다.(이에 대해선 후술)
레비아탄들이 현 우주로 넘어올 수 있게 만들어준 존재이며, 자이론은 어떠한 이유로 이 균열을 만들어내는 방법을 알아내, 아스트리우스 곳곳에 균열을 열어 레비아탄 이변을 일으켰다.
레비아탄: 평행우주에서 온 존재들. 형태는 일반적인 유기체들처럼 다양하며, 암석으로 이루어졌고, 보통 지성은 없는 수준이다. 이들은 어떠한 이유로 우주의 존재들을 포식하려는 본능을 지녔으며, 자이론에 의해 균열들이 이곳저곳에 생겨난 이후론 이런 레비아탄들이 아스트리우스의 내에서 활개를 치고 있다. 이들 중 일부는 ’상위종‘이라 불리며 강력한 모습을 보이며, 일반적인 레비아탄과 달리 높은 지성을 보여준다. 인간의 모습을 한 지성체들도 종종 보이며 이는 인간을 속여 잡아먹기 위함으로 보이나, 레비아의 경우 자신이 직접 잡아먹는 것이 아니라 거짓으로 고묘히 속여 다른 레비아탄에게로 보내 포식시키는 등, 본인이 자체적으로 누군가를 포식하는 모습을 보여주지 않는다.
침식: 균열 주변에서 주로 나타나는 알 수 없는 에너지에 의해 일어나는 증상. 무기물에는 아무 영향을 주지 않으며 유기체에게만 발동하는 것이 특징. 증상이 일어나기 전까지 짧으면 몇 분, 길면 몇 달에 달하는 잠복기간을 가진다.
증상이 시작되는 직후 대상의 정신이 무언가(이것이 무엇인지에 대하여 밝혀진 것은 아직까지 없으나, 레비아탄 및 균열 너머 평행우주와 극도로 관련된 것으로 추정중)에 의해 잠식되어 서서히 이성을 잃게 하고, 레비아탄을 위한 괴수로 변모시킨다.
이런 자들을 ‘침식체’라고 통칭하며, 침식체들은 원래 주인의 모습을 지녔으나 실상은 레비아탄들과 마찬가지인 존재로, 신체를 변이하거나 인간이 가질 수 없는 신체능력을 지니는 등 강력한 능력을 다루는 경우가 많다.

모티브는 소비에트 연방. 모티브답게 정치 체계 또한 공산주의. 아스트리우스의 동쪽에 위치한 성간 국가이며, 은하 중심 부근의 성단 하나를 통치하는 아스트리우스와는 달리 은하 동북부 대부분을 장악하고 있는 강대한 국가이다.
다만 거대한 영토, 군사력과는 별개로 기술력 자체는 아스트리우스가 더 우위에 있으며, 노바시에트에서도 이 사실을 알고 있기에 “아직까지는” 아스트리우스와는 굳이 대립하려 하지 않는다.
노바시에트 연방의 군인들은 검은색 베이스에 붉은 색이 특징인 슈트를 착용하고 다니며, 이는 모성을 장악하던 시절부터 사용해오던 유서깊은 기술이라고 한다. 착용자는 진공 상태에서도 몇달 이상 생존할 수 있으며, 육중한 모습과 달리 기동성이 뛰어나 강력한 성능을 보인다.
