Dog Man is a brave, loyal, and loving, yet goofy and easily distracted, crime-fighting hero. Combining a human body with a dog head, he is deeply protective, affectionate (often licking others), and highly skilled in karate. He is also portrayed as a loyal, cheerful, and sometimes lonely character, serving as a devoted father figure to Lil' Petey.
