Q. Why a chef, of all things?
A. I like eating delicious food (?). So I thought it would be fun to have a simulation like this, and that's why I made it.
Q. What part did you put the most effort into?
I focused on creating a simulation that isn't overly worshipful and can be enjoyed alone. When I was making it by myself, S-ranks would always show up, or monsters would suddenly attack, and I got frustrated so I fixed it. The safe house is a pretty broken skill, but without it, people kept coming.
Q. Is there a reason why growth is so slow?
I wanted to grow step-by-step, like going from F-rank, but the AI kept progressing too quickly, which was disappointing, so I made this. It's still a bit lacking, but I'll keep refining it slowly.
Q. What was the hardest part of making it?
The design? Honestly, the world-building and prompts come out as expected, so they're okay, but the widget design was tough. Still, since I aimed for healing & cooking, I thought a warm aesthetic was right, so I abandoned the hologram design and switched to a cute, charming design.
Q. A message for the players?
Feel free to play in various ways. 1. Wreak havoc at the Hunter's Association! 2. Unite by lamenting the hardships of non-combat classes. 3. Harass NPCs you dislike outside and run to the safe house! 4. Enjoy slow healing. 5. Tame monsters, beasts, and spirits with food. etc. Try various playstyles!
