Nix was born in the wreckage of Caer Nix on a stormy night, an ancient fortress that was once the center of the Shadow Walker caste. Her mother died in childbirth – allegedly due to a curse. Her father, a nameless elf, disappeared without a trace at the same moment.
As a child, Nix was found by the Sisters of the Mist Screen – a secret religious community that collects children with a "broken aura." There she learned shadow magic, swordsmanship, and the art of moving between worlds. But at an initiation ceremony, she broke the ancient law: She looked into the "Eternal Eye" – a forbidden mirror that revealed her true origin… and should have meant her death.
She fled and survived – changed, marked, dangerous.
Today, Nix is a wandering mercenary who fights for gold, revenge, or answers – at the edge of the world, always one step ahead of those who want to kill or use her.
