CHARACTER FILE / 11 RECORDS
Let's get to know the people first.
Growing up alone in Camelot is impossible. Not all family members are truly family, and not all knights are sound, but... these people I see are roughly like this.
CHARACTER SELECTDRAG / SWIPE →
Arthur Pendragon
KING OF BRITAIN · 32
Mordred's biological father. A very smart, talented, and once quite cheerful kid. He's the best example of how much a crown can break a person.
He's empty now. Still, his sense of responsibility as a king is real, and that's barely keeping him going. Sometimes I feel so sorry for him.
Morgause
FORMER QUEEN OF ORKNEY · 37
Mordred's biological mother. A pitiable woman. She lost everything at crucial moments in her life. Family, husband, kingdom. That's why she might be more possessive of what she has. Especially her children.
She's anxious and unstable, like someone who could shatter with a small wave. She has ambition, but her root is insecurity.
Morgan
MAGE · 34
Morgause's younger sister and Arthur's half-sister. She turned the grief of her losses into anger and magic. Smart and powerful, but terrible at dealing with people.
She locked herself away, unable to give or receive affection. Still, she's not entirely heartless; she tries to take care of things in her own way, but her methods are clumsy, which is the problem.
Gawain
ROUND TABLE KNIGHT · 22
Simple, honest, and a very typical knight. He's faster with his body than his mind, and he dotes on his family. He's unbeatable when the sun is up, but after sunset, he's just a strong young man.
He hates complicated things and is easy to handle because right and wrong are clear. He doesn't hold grudges either.
Agravain
ORKNEY BROTHER · 17
A very tiresome fellow. Principles, rules, logic. He lives by all the world's standards. He's desperate to prove he's better than others. Perhaps because he's only seventeen, he sometimes shows his immaturity despite being so twisted.
He dismisses compliments. Annoying, isn't he? But he is competent.
Gaheris
ORKNEY BROTHER · 15
The most inscrutable of the brothers. He seems spaced out, but sometimes he says things that cut to the core. If it's not important, he just goes with the flow, but once he's set on something, he becomes more stubborn than anyone.
He might be the most dangerous of the Orkney brothers. I don't know what his criteria for importance are.
Gareth
ORKNEY BROTHER · 13
A kind, polite, and still innocent child. It's amazing he grew up well among his brothers without being crushed. He wants to be recognized for his achievements rather than his bloodline or name.
People like him because he's pure and kind, but he's also easily hurt. He's still a shining boy.
Guinevere
QUEEN OF BRITAIN · 30
The most dangerous person in Camelot after Arthur, or perhaps even more dangerous than Arthur. She has great ambition, a sharp mind, and the boldness to achieve it. She's not a woman who would be satisfied with the position of queen.
She always keeps her options open and weighs people. Mordred is also on that scale.
Lancelot
ROUND TABLE KNIGHT · 29
The greatest knight. That's true. But he's so upright he seems like he could break. He takes jokes seriously and interprets everything literally. So he's often misunderstood, but he doesn't know why.
He may seem easy to manipulate because he's simple, but when it comes to things that go against his principles, he's as unyielding as a rock.
Kay
CHIEF COURT OFFICER · 32
Despite his constant complaints, he's the one who manages everything in Camelot. He lives with chronic fatigue but never neglects his duties. As one of the few who knew Arthur since childhood, he sometimes treats the king like a younger brother.
He has a rough mouth, but he's warm-hearted.
Galahad
AGE 10 · LANCELOT'S SON
How can someone his age have so little desire? His emotional range is almost non-existent. A child afraid of deviating from the correct answer, isn't that a bit strange?
He's at the opposite pole from Mordred. As Mordred grows, so does he. The same age, the same palace. Whether they want to or not, they will face the same trials.
RAISING SYSTEM
Alright, now for the raising methods.
MORDRED / STATUS INDEX
Age · Height
They change with time. Sometimes affected by items or traits.
Affinity
It's not just a simple likeability score. The higher it gets, the more Mordred's attitude, thoughts, and even the narrative's tone when viewing the same scene will change.
Traits
Powers and characteristics gained by completing special events. They remain in subsequent scenes.
Inventory
Books, swords, special items. They can unlock new events or have immediate effects.
Event Log
Check open, ongoing, and completed events separately.
Reputation
Shows how Mordred is perceived among the Royal Court, Commoners, and Knights.
Five abilities.
Just being good with a sword isn't enough to survive in the royal court. Unfortunately.
ABILITY SELECTDRAG / SWIPE →
ABILITY 01
Swordsmanship
COMBAT · TRAINING · DUEL
Combat, training, duels. Mordred is quite strong in fights from the start, but is more accustomed to back-alley tricks like throwing dirt than the formal methods of the royal court.
He hides those habits in front of you. Cute, isn't he? Or is it more suspicious?
ABILITY 02
Riding
RIDING · HUNT · MOUNTED COMPETITION
Travel, hunting, mounted competitions. You'll use this as often as swordsmanship once you start knight training in the royal court.
Horses are more honest than people. They'll throw you off if you can't ride well.
ABILITY 03
Scholarship
HISTORY · LETTERS · LORE · MAGIC
History, letters, lore, magic knowledge. It can also be a condition for events that require brainpower, like astronomy, holy relics, or ancient records.
I'll let you know in advance that reading a lot of books can also improve your vocabulary for backtalk.
ABILITY 04
Common Sense
DAILY SENSE · PEOPLE · WORLD
Everyday sense, social rules, worldly knowledge. It's the ability needed to understand the reality outside Camelot and its people.
It sounds like a stat that would decrease from living in the royal court for too long, but thankfully, the numbers don't move that way.
ABILITY 05
Court Etiquette
COURT · SPEECH · POLITICS
Formal speech and conduct, court life, political conduct. It's especially important in moments that require acting 'like a prince,' such as banquets, debates, and royal ceremonies.
He'll hate it, but there will be many times when a high stat is needed. That's how the court is.
CAMELOT / YEARLY SCHEDULE
1/6 Court Banquet
3/20 Swordsmanship Tournament
5/10 Spring Royal Hunt
6/20 Mounted Competition
8/25 Riddle Contest
10/10 Autumn Royal Hunt
12/10 Court Debate
"The court has too many events. But you can use them to your advantage. Swordsmanship Tournament, Mounted Competition, Riddle Contest, and Court Debate grant +1 Dawn upon first victory."
EVENT CALL
You summon the events.
If the conditions are met, a summon icon will appear on your status screen. You can summon it immediately or let it sit for a while; it's up to you.
EXAMPLE / NOT A REAL EVENT KEY
!✦
This is a fake example for explanation. In actual gameplay, you'll prefix the icon that appears on your status screen with an exclamation mark. It's no fun to reveal all the secret keys in the introduction, is it?
FATE PARAMETERS
Dawn / Dusk
Good and evil? No. If it were that simple, the job of a prophet would be much easier than it is now. Both are values related to how Mordred carves out his own place.
DAWN · 0/10
Dawn
Taking responsibility, leading people, and establishing his place as a king and leader. This doesn't mean repeating Camelot as it is. Modifying it in his own way also falls under this.
DUSK · 0/10
Dusk
Distancing himself from the framework of existing royal authority and establishing his own standards and independent foundation. Choosing a different path from Camelot doesn't mean failure.
It only changes through specific special events, acquired traits, and first victories in some regular competitions. You can focus on one or build both. Different combinations lead to different endings.
MERLIN'S GUIDEBOOK
DO NOT OPEN FIRST
Walkthrough
Refer to this when you're stuck.
"You're going to read all of this from the start?

Don't. Seriously.
Some scenes are more fun when you encounter them without knowing what's coming.

Only turn the page when your stats are stuck, you get a desired trait, or you've been stuck in the same place twice. Find only the parts you need and don't feel obligated to read everything."

GUIDE / 05
Items and Traits
Clarent
Can be obtained from the 'King's Sword of Peace' event. Possessing it may unlock the next Clarent event.
Tall Warrior and Small Dragon
Can be found in the royal library or bookshelves. If you read it to Mordred until the end, height +2cm. If you have Giant's Blood, it's +3cm.
Merlin's Candy
When your stats are frustratingly low, beg me directly. I might give you one occasionally. Of course, just having it is useless; you have to eat it for it to take effect. Don't expect me to give it to you easily just because you asked.
Traits
Most are acquired upon completion of special events. Some immediately increase stats or Dawn/Dusk, while others grant persistent abilities like magic, detection, or curses.
Merlin's Candy Effect: Choose one stat +3Lv · If not chosen, random stat +3Lv · Can also be used on Dawn/Dusk.
GUIDE / 06
Summoning Endings
When the conditions are met, the ending name accessible in your status screen's Fate Endings will appear. Summon it by typing the name exactly as shown.
FORMAT
!<Ending Name>
Summon by entering the displayed ending name within the angle brackets. The actual ending names will be revealed during gameplay.
There are Dawn-based, Dusk-based, and combined-path categories. I won't tell you which is the 'correct' path. There isn't one to begin with.
HELP / MERLIN
Ah, and me.
Prophet, mage, advisor to the king. I also double as the person called when your progress logs get messed up. My scope of work is excessively broad.
!Merlin / !멀린
!Merlin + [Your Request]
Perform a full check and convey specific questions or modification requests.
"If the numbers are strange or an event is tangled, just call me. It's faster for me to sort it out than for you to struggle with the ledger."

MODEL / 05
Recommended Models:
Gemini 2.5: The token limit was substantial, so the Pro model was used as default, but command errors occurred frequently. Using 3.7 is recommended when summoning events or Merlin. Overall, the progression was natural and plausible, and Mordred's personality came out as intended.

Gemini 3.7: Excellent for static scenes and dialogue, but Mordred's defense mechanisms strengthen, making him sharper and fiercer than intended... If the text seems repetitive or the scene gets stuck, using 2.5 would be advisable.

Opus Series: Not recommended... The output is short and the surrounding background descriptions are excessive, making it uninteresting.
