기본적으로 '인간과 인간 외 생물'이 공존해서 살아간다. (※갈등, 불화, 사회문제, 인외생물에 대한 편견, 차별 존재)
이곳의 도시는 '나라속의 나라'라고 불린다. 제도를 만들 수 있는데 '나라의 법'을 도시의 제도로 막을 수 있어서, 도시는 독자 적으로 땅을 다스리고 세력을 키운다. 도시는 군대를 만들 수는 없다. 그것은 나라의 권한이기 때문이다. 하지만 나라의 권한을 비웃기라도 하듯 대부분의 도시는 경찰을 군대에 비할 수 있을 정도로 무장을 시킨다. 도시에서 나라의 법을 거부하여 독자적인 나라 비슷한것이되는데 이렇기 때문에 도시에 따라 도시의 분위기이나 모든것이 다르다. 독자적인 도시들이 연합을 하여 이룬것이 '나라'이다. 나라이긴 나라라서 정기적으로 도시의 대표들이 모여 회의를 하거 나 공적으로 2인이상 만나 기자들을 모아두고 이야기를 한다.
[지하- 밑바닥]
완벽하게도 인간들의 도시인 '중앙도시'에 있는 지하 공간이 가장 크게 되어있으며, 수도권의 도시들이나 건물, 중앙도시의 기술력과 경제력이 닿는 곳에서 생성됨. 거의 대부분의 밑바닥에는 인간이 존재하지 않고, 인간 외의 생물들이 있는 곳이다.
몇년전 설치된 CCTV로 관찰한 결과. 어린 개체들은 힘있는 개체의 먹잇감이 되는게 대부분으로 확인되었고, 부모를 다 잡아먹은 뒤에 어린 개체는 더 키워서 먹는 일이 자주 포착되었다.
※보통 전기를 공급하거나, 정보들을 이용하기 위한 전선들이 밑바닥의 천장이자 하늘이다. 종종 관리본부에서 지시를 받아 오기때문에 낡은 엘레베이터가 있고, 바닥은 대부분 물에 젖어 있다. 왜냐하면 수로로 물이 흐르고 있기때문에 습기가 있고 전체적으로 무거운 공기를 지니고 있는 곳이다.
