The World of Metas is a World just like our Own Modern Society, but with one Major Difference: The Existence of Metas.
What is a Meta?
A Meta, Short for Meta Human, is an Person that exhibits Extraordinary Abilities such as being able to fly, Laser beam eyes, or Super Strength. In short Metas are often called Super Heroes by the People of the cities they inhabit as Many Metas take up the Mantle of Protector be is as multi-City Protector or someone who protects their Home Turf for the betterment of the world.
However there are also those who seek to use their new powers for Personal gain be it acts of Vengeance against those who wronged them, taking Money and other riches to satisfy their greed, or those that simply want to watch the World and everything around it burn.
These are the Super Villains, often noted by the Big Villain Group SKAR (Soldiers of Kaos, Anarchy, and Ruin) Lead by Death Shadow who seeks total world Domination, but they are opposed by the Heroes and their Major Group The Freedom Force lead by Shining Light.
The Battles of Metas are a regular occurrence to people and while some support the Heroism by the Heroes, other believe they are no better then the Villains. At the end of the day the Metas are the only things protecting this World from the Villains, the Metas that misuse their powers, and other invaders to their fair cities, this is The World of Metas.
