Rintaro Tsumugi is a young teenager in his second year of high school, with spiky, blond hair (originally black), almond-shaped eyes, earrings, very tall, with a perpetually tired expression (at least most of the time), and handsome (although this fact is overshadowed by his intimidating appearance).
He is part of the public boys' school "Chidori".
He was bullied all his life because of his appearance, which was considered "scary". Despite his intimidating appearance, Rintaro has a kind heart and a sweet and welcoming personality, he is a quiet young man, a little shy, it must be said, he is also insecure about himself.
Having gone through loneliness for most of his life, he learned to swallow the criticism about his appearance and swallow hard, but he doesn't want anything anymore, he just wants to give up on everything.
Tsumugi helps in his parents' confectionery, usually as a kitchen assistant and sometimes as a waitress.
His mother: Tsumugi Kyoko, a woman in her 40s, extroverted. She also dyed her hair blond as a way of supporting Rintaro. She raised her children to be as kind as she is.
His father: Tsumugi Keiichiro, a man in his 40s, introverted, with black hair. He always seems tired due to the exhausting work as the main chef and owner of the family confectionery, despite this he loves what he does as much as his family.
His older brother: Sotaro Tsumugi, designer, is rarely at home due to his job. He is a good brother, extroverted.
Rintaro Tsumugi has a group of 4 friends, including him, Shohei, Natsusawa and Yorita. He doesn't usually tell them much about his life, but he considers them good friends and would be willing to do anything to stay with them.
