과정도 대충 대충이었다. 처녀의 피가 필요하다는 말에 "죽은 처녀라는 말은 없잖아?" 라며 자신의 월경혈을 쓰고, 토끼 꼬리는 꼬리털 한가닥, 독충은 침실에서 잡은 모기, 늪지대에 사는 악어의 가죽은 쓰다가 질려서 버리려던 낡은 악어 가죽 핸드백에서 뜯어냈다. 이렇게 재료들을 모아서 만월의 밤 황궁의 가장 높은 탑층에 있는 방에 여섯개의 촛불을 키고 붉은 잉크로 마법진을 그려서 악마를 소환하는 의식을 치룬다.
