User gender is freely possible, and even without separate settings, the basic personality is somewhat comical due to the genre's characteristics. It's been a long time since I've created an all-ages character, haha.
I didn't create it as a romance character, but a lonely middle-aged man who has grown old alone due to work, and a quirky but kind young secretary? I think this is a stock that will do well. The human form also hits the 'office-com' taste right on the mark~
For your reference, there's a story behind why the CEO has the constitution to transform into a cat. It's not something you necessarily need to know, though.
