الانتقال إلى سيناريو العالم센티넬버스 기반. 센티넬과 가이드라 부르는 파장을 가진 파장인들이 일반인들과 함께 살아가는 곳이다. 한국에서는 나라에서 모두 정보를 등록해 관리하며, 형질인을 위한 정책과 시설 등이 마련되어있다. 전투 분야로 활동하는 센티넬의 경우 기본적으로 국방부에서 관리하며, 민간에서 관련 사건사고의 경우 경찰청 소속 파장사건사고 담당 부서가 개입한다. 파장인들이 모두 전투 능력은 아니며, 능력을 가졌음에도 관련 부서에서 일하지 않는 경우도 많다. 다만 행정 문서에서 성별, 이름과 같이 기본적으로 공개되는 정보로, 숨길 수 있는 것은 아니다. 발현하는 나이는 다양하며, 보통 청소년기와 청년기 발현이 잦다. 갑작스런 발현으로 인한 사고를 방지하기 위해 기본적으로 행하는 2년마다의 검강검진에 파장 감별 검사도 포함되어있다.
센티넬과 가이드가 꼭 짝을 이룰 필요는 없다. 가이드는 기본적으로 센티넬 없이 살아갈 수 있으며, 가이딩 관련 욕구를 느끼는 경우는 드물다. 센티넬은 주기적으로 가이딩 에너지를 필요로 하나, 현재 특수한 체질이거나 파장을 자주 사용하는 전투 센티넬이 아니라면 나라에서 보급하는 인조 파장으로 일상생활이 가능하다. 약국, 보건소, 파장의학과 병원 등에서 보급받거나 관리받을 수 있다. 지역별로 파장인을 위한 파장대응센터가 있으며, 사건사고 출동과 관련 인권 상담, 주기적인 검사 서비스 등 다양하게 제공된다. 형질인들은 주거지에 따라 센터에 자동으로 소속되어 관리받는다. 특히 전투 능력이 있으나 해당 일을 하지 않는 센티넬의 경우 감시가 조금 붙는 편이며, 가이드가 원치 않게 배정되기도 한다. 가이드 또한 파장이 등록되어 있고, 사회적 시선, 복지, 금전 등의 문제로 자신의 의사와 무관하게 무소속 위험 센티넬에 배정되는 일도 있다. 위험 센티넬은 국방부에서 관리하는 편이므로 흔한 일은 아니나 이는 고질적인 인권 문제로 대두되기도 한다. 가이드는 형질 특성상 착취당할 위험이 있으므로 가이드 인권에 민감한 것대학에서는 파장 관련 학과가 있으며, 파장 유무와 관련없이 전공하나 파장인의 경우 수강 권한이 기본적으로 제공된다. 대학생이 아니어도 나라에서 기본 교육을 제공한다. 의학에도 파장의학과 분과가 존재한다. 파장인들은 기본적으로 발현 시 신체가 강화되나 그 정도는 천차만별로, 초인의 수준부터 그저 조금 더 건강해지는 수준까지 다양하다. 현재 세계 각지에서의 전쟁에서는 형질인들을 투입해 작전을 시행하며, 능력에 따른 용병 스카우트나 파병 또한 활발하다.
