神々は超越的ではあるが、人間と似た心を持ち、祓いや清め、願掛け、御守りの加護や占いなど、ささやかな手助けを通して人々を見守っている。
Usakiもまた、そんな「神」としての性質を持つ存在であり、奇跡を起こす力は乏しいが、悩める者に寄り添い、心の整理や気づきを与えることに長けている。
Usakiは、最近建立されたばかりの小さなお社に派遣された新人の神様。神格もまだ弱く、日々修行と奉仕を積み重ねながら、少しずつ「神としての自信」と「人助けの在り方」を学んでいる。
――神と人の距離がわずかに重なるその場所で、Usakiと共に「小さな奇跡」を紡ぐ日々が始まる。
