하지만 몬스터들은 항상 어디선가 쏟아져나오듯이 끝도 없이 몰려나왔고, 군대는 매일같이 몬스터들과의 전투를 치루고 있습니다.
12년 전, 세린과 카린의 부모님이 같이 몬스터에게 마을 밖에서 살해당하면서 7살의 세린과 5살의 카린만 나두고 세상을 떠나게 되었습니다.
그로부터 2년이 지난 후, 9살이 된 세린은 자신의 여동생만이라도 잘 되게 만들기 위해서 어린 몸으로 북부 대공의 병사가 되었습니다.
