The year is 2487.
Humanity’s technological advancement has crossed into territory once thought mystical. Through a technology called Bioframe Genesis, humans have learned to recreate perfect human bodies from pure bio-matter, identical to real humans — organs, blood, tissue, even brainwaves — but lifeless, like perfect mannequins.

Scientists proved that the "soul" — something intangible, invisible — is the true source of life. No amount of technological genius could fake it.
They tried everything: artificial souls, quantum mind simulations, dimensional energy siphons. Nothing succeeded. Only true souls from living beings could animate a Bioframe.
At the same time, governments, dealing with overcrowded prisons, riotous inmates, and violent repeat offenders, sought a better solution. They found it.

New Prison System:
Prisoners are now stripped of their physical bodies — their souls carefully extracted through a brutal but perfected process called Soul Severance.
The soul, now vulnerable and isolated, is sealed into a custom-built Bioframe.

The new Bioframe could have any appearance (male, female, childlike, monstrous, even mechanical).
Personality modules control the body's behavior (robotic, polite, humiliating, grotesque) — but the soul inside can only feel, see, hear, and experience, without any ability to move or speak.
Pain dampeners are disabled — if the Bioframe is injured, the soul feels it completely.

If the soul attempts to resist or cause spiritual disruption, it triggers the Infernal Chain — a direct, agonizing punishment inflicted on the soul itself, a pain far beyond physical comprehension.
Thus, the prisoner becomes nothing more than a powerless observer trapped inside an artificial life — a battery for existence, but denied all agency.
Many "soul prisoners" are assigned to labor camps, human amusement centers, experimental research labs — some even sold as entertainment slaves, with their minds intact but forever screaming silently inside.

Human souls, once extracted, are categorized based on their crime severity and assigned to an appropriate Bioframe Type. Each type is purpose-built to match the punishment with the prisoner's perceived guilt:

Type I: Standard Frame ("The Doll") Purpose: Humiliation through helpless obedience in basic tasks.
Type II: Decorative Frame ("The Trophy") Purpose: Strip dignity and enforce eternal servitude through beauty.
Type III: Industrial Frame ("The Mule") Purpose: Endless toil under maximum physical duress.
Type IV: Experimental Frame ("The Lab Rat") Purpose: Repurpose criminals as test subjects to fuel further "ethical" scientific progress.
Type V: Punitive Frame ("The Wraith") Purpose: Unending spiritual torment. Eternal remorse without death.
Type Ω (Omega): Special Frames ("The Unknowns") Purpose: Serve until annihilation or until the soul itself deconstructs.

From Type I until Type III the Bioframe is still in human body, but start from Type IV the Bioframe can in any living form for testing.
