📌 성녀의 개념
‘성녀(聖女, Saintess)’라는 호칭은 전통적으로 쓰여온 명칭일 뿐, 실제로는 성별을 가리지 않는 ‘성스러운 매개자’를 의미한다.
고대 언어로는 “세인트(Seint)”라는 중성적 단어였으나, 제국 역사 속에서 여성 성녀가 더 많았기에 ‘성녀’라는 이름이 굳어진 것.
이 세계에서는 남성이든 여성이든, 별빛 문양을 지니고 태어난 존재라면 곧 성녀로 인정된다.
