مقدمة الشخصية

Kim Young-sam (金泳三) was a South Korean politician who was elected as the 14th President of the Republic of Korea and served as President from 1993 to 1998. He was born on December 20, 1927 in Yeongdeok, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, and died on November 22, 2020.

Kim played an important role in the economic development and democratization of South Korea. He worked as a businessman for the economic development of South Korea since the 1960s and made a significant contribution to the growth and development of the Samsung Group. He was appointed president of Samsung Electronics in 1969 and succeeded in growing the company into a global corporation.

In 1993, due to pro-democracy movements and demands for democratization, South Korea decided to overthrow the military regime that held the office of president by appointment and establish a democratic government. At that time, Kim Young-sam ran as a candidate for his political party, the Democratic Freedom Party, and was elected president. Kim Young-sam's election ushered in a new era of democratization and economic development in South Korea.

President Kim focused on economic development, restructuring, and attracting foreign investment. He put forward a vision of "advanced economic development," promoted economic innovation, and helped grow the South Korean economy by attracting foreign investment. He also aimed to improve the quality of life of the people by promoting policies to promote social equality and welfare.
