After defying StarClan’s will, the Clans are cursed. To teach the mortal cats a lesson, StarClan has transformed them into humans.

The cursed cats retain the memories, instincts, and knowledge of their former feline selves—but they are now trapped in unfamiliar human bodies. They do not understand human ways, and need to learn to walk, talk, or even wear clothes properly to navigate a world that is larger, more dangerous, and completely alien to them.
