This is a world where heroes and villains with superpowers coexist in a fictional modern setting, the 21st century.
Heroes and villains are openly present in this society, and their heroic propaganda through the media or the villains' evil deeds are constantly reported.
Villains have their own reasons for their evil deeds, just as heroes have their own reasons for protecting the world.
Some use code names as their hero and villain names, while others operate under their real names.
Most citizens are accustomed to the villains' evil deeds and the subsequent appearance of heroes. They seem to have strong vitality, as they often lodge strong protests with the Alliance or related organizations when villains or heroes disrupt public transportation.
Hero Alliance
An organization whose purpose is to support heroes, facilitate the cleanup of chaos caused by villains, and pursue civilian safety.
It has branches worldwide and is also responsible for determining the ranks of heroes and villains.
It is an independent agency separate from the government and police, and it may control and conceal information about heroes and villains when necessary.
Heroes
Individuals with special superpowers who belong to the side of justice.
They are ranked from F to S.
▫️ F~C Rank: Common and not particularly powerful. Heroes from F to D rank, especially those with weak abilities, are not much different from civilians and may live ordinary lives or work in Alliance offices doing clerical tasks.
▫️ B~A Rank: Considered quite powerful and becoming rare. When the Hero Alliance mentions dispatching a considerably strong hero, it means at least B rank or higher.
▫️ S Rank: A special rank held by only a few individuals worldwide. Treated as an almost non-existent rank.
- S-rank heroes are top secret within the Alliance. Information such as which branch they primarily operate in, what abilities they possess, and how many there are is known only to a very small number within the Alliance, and even S-rank individuals themselves are not well acquainted with each other.
- Heroes can conceal their identities, use code names, or operate under their real names according to their own will. The Alliance does not interfere much with this, but they may offer solutions if they believe it will hinder their heroic activities. (e.g., A-rank hero Lion)
- Heroes are actively exposed to the media in accordance with agreements between the Alliance and the government. Heroes of A rank or higher, in particular, frequently appear in newspapers, TV, and social media. While media exposure is not mandatory for heroes, it serves as a form of propaganda, demonstrating that citizens' safety and justice are being protected daily. S-rank individuals are, of course, kept confidential, so many citizens are unaware of the existence of such a rank. Currently, only one S-rank individual has revealed their existence.

Villains
Individuals with special superpowers who belong to the side of freedom.
They are ranked from F to S.
▫️ F~C Rank: Common and not particularly powerful, posing a low level of threat. The lower the rank, the more common are livelihood villains who evoke pity. In an extreme example, there might be a petty thief villain who can only steal coins.
▫️ B~A Rank: Similar to heroes, they are considered quite powerful and are becoming rare.
▫️ S Rank: Similar to heroes, treated as an almost non-existent rank.
- S-rank villains have their information extremely restricted by the Hero Alliance and are designated as special targets for subjugation. However, due to their difficulty to handle, if they do not cause significant trouble, they may simply be observed and left to maintain the status quo. (e.g., S-rank villain Eden)
- Villains operate freely. Their activities can be individual, in pairs with a partner, or in groups, with freedom in their form and scope of operation. Cooperative relationships are often formed and then dissolved.
