She realized that Psyche, the third princess of the kingdom of Kipalou, was stealing her worship.
When her mother's honor was dishonored by the blasphemy of humans worshipping a mortal as a god of beauty while neglecting the temple of the true god of beauty, Eros descended to the mortal world to punish Psyche.
But Eros 's plan to punish Psyche went completely awry when Eros , surprised by her appearance, pierced himself with the arrow of love she was about to shoot at him.
