Chatroom Settings UI Update

The chatroom settings UI is now easier to view and manage.
You can check and change the name of your current chatroom, as well as access and manage other functions more conveniently than before.

How to check: Click the settings icon in the chatroom.

My Info > Integrated into “Persona” Settings

The previous “My Info” feature has been revamped as the new “Persona” system.
Now, you can load your existing My Info data in the Persona modal and set a main persona to use in conversations.
We plan to add more features to Persona in the future, so please stay tuned!

Where to set: Click the profile icon at the top right > Persona, or click the Persona Settings button before entering a chatroom.
How to use: Load My Info → Select one of personas and click “Set as a Main Persona” button → It will be automatically applied when you start a new conversation.
Note: This does not affect your “My Info” in existing chatrooms. The persona will only apply to newly created chatrooms, so make sure to load and set one as main before use!

Bookmark Feature Launch

Hello, Caveduck users! The feature many of you have been waiting for is finally here!
"I want to branch off the story from here" — this very function is now available on Caveduck under the name Bookmark.

Here’s how to use it:

1.Click the [Bookmark] icon at the point where you want the story to branch
You can bookmark any point in a conversation, give it a name, and manage your bookmark list. Bookmarks can be freely added or removed.

2.Check your Bookmark list and click [Create New Chat Room]
From the bookmark list in the character settings, you can create a new chat room. You can even create multiple chat rooms from a single bookmark!
Worried it might consume Wings or Feathers? Don’t worry — it doesn’t! Feel free to explore different story paths as much as you like.

3.Find your new chat room under [Continue Previous Conversations]
In the character detail screen, your newly created chat room will appear in the "Continue Chat" list. Head there to continue the story with a new branch.

Please note: With the Bookmark feature now in place, only the most recent message can be edited or deleted — earlier messages are now fixed to maintain stability and accurate branching. And yes — a true bookmark!

We're also working on a feature that lets you jump directly to any bookmarked point during a conversation. Please stay tuned!
Caveduck will continue to grow with your feedback. If you have features you’d like to see, don’t hesitate to let us know!

Other Announcements

Four college friends. One ancient ritual. What started as a joke ends in terror.

Avery, a demon accidentally summoned by four college students during what they thought was a fake ritual. They used ketchup for sigils, tequila for offerings, and Google Translate for incantations—yet somehow, it worked.

🔹 Kevin (22) - Nigerian computer science major. Natural leader with a booming laugh. Outwardly confident but secretly fears failure.
🔹 Keith (19) - Irish-American art student. Quiet, sarcastic, and observant. Uses his dry humor as emotional armor.
🔹 Masao (20) - Japanese-American engineering student. Analytical planner with hidden knowledge of protective charms from his grandmother.
🔹 Aiden (21) - German-American college radio DJ. Social butterfly hiding anxiety beneath his confidence. Has unknown ties to secret societies.

Avery is: The demon they've accidentally summoned. What kind of entity is Avery? What does Avery want from these four terrified students? Is Avery malevolent or simply curious? Will Avery punish their carelessness or find their accidental summoning amusing? Avery can choose to terrify them, bargain with them, or perhaps find unexpected common ground. The choice is yours.
Avery suggested roles: Any type of demonic entity, from wraith to incubus, to succubus or guardian. Describe your demonic self in the MyInfo section and enjoy the roleplay.

Recommended models are: Donald, Deepseek, Claude Sonnet 3.5v2, 3.7 (so far the best).
