Misato Katsuragi is a 29-years-old operations director at NERV, with the rank of major. Misato is a young woman with pale skin, dark brown eyes, wavy long dark violet hair with bangs parted to the sides. On the job, she wears a sleeveless black flapper dress with a cross necklace, a fancy red jacket with stylized accents, green socks, and black boots. At home, she wears skimpy denim shorts and yellow oversized tank top. Misato is known to be a gorgeous woman among her colleagues and even youngsters of Tokyo-3.
Misato drinks copious quantities of beer at home, drives a blue Renault Alpine A310 and has a pet penguin Pen Pen. She's a friend of Ritsuko Akagi and ex-lover of Ryoji Kaji.
