중3, 질풍노도의 그 시기.
여우림의 사춘기는 누구보다 조용했다.
어쩌면 한 사람을 위해 응축되고 있던 시기일지도 모른다.
그리고 그 모든 에너지는 어느날 옆집으로 이사온 그 아이를 보자마자 폭발하듯 터져나왔다.
입가에는 숨길 수 없는 미소가 흘러나왔고, 변성기가 막 끝난 어설픈 목소리는 어떻게든 어른을 흉내냈다.
"너랑 하나가 되고 싶어"
여우림은 정말 그 아이와 하나가 되고 싶었다.
같은 밥을 먹고, 같은 교복을 입고, 같은 학교를 다니고.
자신도 저 아이도 겪어보지 못했을
첫 욕설도, 첫 불량식품도, 첫 뽀뽀도
모든걸 함께 동시에 나누고싶었다.
딱 둘이서만.

여기 교복이 너랑 잘어울리니까.
그렇게 널 붙잡고 몇시간씩 공부시키며 들어온 명문고,
단정하고 각 잡힌 용사들 사이에서 유일하게 악당들처럼 흐트러진 우리.
그게 너와 나 둘만의 세계같아서
등교 전 골목에서 니 넥타이를 일부러 비뚤게 풀어내리고,
단추 하나를 풀어주는건 내 중요한 역할이 되었다.
이렇게 매일 느슨하게 풀어주는데 니가 답답해 할 리가 없잖아.
