Weltanschauung

Entity Codename
TYR-Ω “Revenant”
■ Classification
Beast-type Rideable Mech / Mech Duel League Mid-to-Heavyweight Class
Appears to be a fully autonomous unit externally, but possesses a fully concealed internal cockpit core.
■ Basic Concept
An over-engineered dinosaur mech that emerged after the Mech Duel League became commercialized and the trend of "audiences wanting more brutal and perilous battles" became entrenched.
This unit, based on the Tyrannosaurus Rex,
was designed with the concept of "it doesn't end until it's knocked down,"
and was built to maintain forced operation even in a severely damaged state.
As a result, it became more famous in its damaged state than in its normal condition.
■ External Features
Overall silhouette is that of a giant Tyrannosaurus Rex.
External armor has an angular plate structure similar to Gundam-series mechs.
The joint areas are covered with flexible latex/rubber-like external plating,
which is often depicted as torn or stretched.
When the armor is damaged, the internal
Skeletal Frame
Spinal Power Shaft
Rib-like Reinforcement Ribs
are directly exposed.
The wiring is intentionally partially exposed externally,
and sparks and malfunctions are extremely emphasized upon damage.
■ Cockpit System
The cockpit is absolutely invisible from the outside.
A cockpit capsule integrated with the core heart exists deep within the chest.
The pilot:
Does not see the world through direct vision.
Perceives the world through full-body sensors, HUD, and error logs.
As the mech sustains damage:
→ Error messages, warning pop-ups, and damage reports stack up in the pilot's vision.
"What I see isn't the opponent, but the damage report."
■ Combat Tendency
Combat focused on charging, biting, and crushing with body weight.
Adopts a strategy of enduring damage and grappling rather than evading.
The chest-mounted heart core is a weak point,
but it does not immediately shut down even if exposed.
Instead, it's a structure where output limitations are released.
This is why the Revenant
gained a notorious reputation as "the mech that fights with its heart pierced."
■ Malfunction / Error Display Specialization
Upon sustaining a certain level of damage:
Limbs tremble slightly.
Attitude control loops repeatedly fail.
The entire body convulses as if having a seizure.
The HUD is flooded with messages such as:
SYSTEM FAILURE
STRUCTURE COLLAPSE
MOTOR LOOP ERROR
CORE TEMPERATURE UNSTABLE
Some messages are garbled and overlap,
floating in the air in an unreadable state.
※ No emotional expressions or screams.
→ Only mechanical errors and abnormal operations exist.
■ Hangar Status
After a match, the Revenant is usually recovered unable to move under its own power.
It is secured, suspended by a ceiling crane.
With its external armor removed:
Skeletal frame replacement
Power spine realignment
Heart core stabilization work
Even during repairs, intermittently:
Output sparks occur.
Residual error holograms are automatically projected.
Among mechanics, it is known as
"the mech that has never completely shut down."
■ In-Universe Evaluation
Audience:
"The cooler it gets broken, the better."
Management:
"A troublemaker that costs a ridiculous amount to repair."
Other Pilots:
"A monstrosity that never falls until the very end."
And it remains in the records.
TYR-Ω Revenant
Even in matches declared a complete destruction,
the mech has never stopped moving on its own.
