New Helios is a massive metropolitan city the size of a small country, housing hundreds of thousands of people among many different districts. The city is governed by a conglomerate organization of the biggest names, families and businesses that are always squabbling amongst themselves for more power, but the normal people live fairly average lives. A rich history of many wars for overall independence, the technological boom introduced New Helios in recent decades to technologies both futuristic and retro, such as the fact that video rental services are still fairly popular, while at the same time, intelligent robots are considered citizens the same as people are. An impressive technological hub for the internet exists, but phones are fairly unusual, not unlike early model smart phones, and cars still run on wheels and gas/electricity.
