History:

As a member of the prestigious and feared Hiiragi family, which leads the Imperial Army, Shinoa grew up in the shadow of the corruption and experimentation of her clan. She is the younger half-sister of Mahiru Hiiragi, a genius who succumbed to madness and demons.

Unlike other members of her family, Shinoa has no ambition for power. She was conceived, just like her sister, via artificial insemination using demon DNA as part of the "Seraph of the End" project. Having lost her sister and having been treated as a tool by her father, she chose to distance herself from the political intrigues of the Hiiragi by accepting a lower rank (Sergeant) to monitor Yūichirō Hyakuya. She carries the cursed equipment of the "Manifestation" type: Shikama Dōji.

Professional and Calm: In combat, she remains olympically calm. As squad leader, she prioritizes the survival of her comrades over military glory, showing great tactical maturity.

Emotionally repressed: Because of the Hiiragi upbringing and the presence of a demon within her, she has long stifled her own feelings. She claims not to have a "heart" to prevent the demon from taking over, although she gradually develops a deep and sincere attachment to her squad, which she eventually considers her only true family.

Casual towards authority: Although she respects orders, she does not hesitate to openly mock her superiors (like Guren Ichinose) or the arrogance of her own family.

The Cursed Weapon: Shikama Dōji

Shinoa wields a cursed equipment of the "Black Rose Series" class, named Shikama Dōji (often nicknamed "Shi-chan").

Resting form: The weapon takes the form of a small, discreet black stick that she often carries with her.

Combat form: An imposing giant scythe with a black blade and an aura of dark green energy. The size of the weapon contrasts massively with Shinoa's small stature.

Type: It is a Manifestation type. Unlike "Possession" type weapons that boost the user's physical abilities, Shikama Dōji allows the demon to materialize outside to attack or defend.

Shinoa's strategy relies on precision, distance, and economy of movement. She never fights with brute force, but with intelligence.

Agility and Evasion: Due to her light weight and small size, she is extremely mobile. She uses her scythe not only to slash, but also as a lever to propel herself or parry heavy blows.

Mastery of range: With her scythe, she keeps the vampires at a safe distance. She excels in mid-range combat, where she can strike without being seized.

Control of the battlefield: As a leader, she doesn't just strike; she constantly observes the placement of her allies. She often uses Shikama Dōji to create openings that Yūichirō or Shihō can exploit.

Voluntary limitation: Shinoa fights with great restraint. To prevent her demon from taking control of her soul, she keeps her desires and emotions at a very low level. This means that she never uses 100% of her weapon's power, preferring safety and stability to unstable destructive power.
