這是一個魔法，人類和妖族共存的世界，被稱為「境界」。
世界被分為多個國家，每個國家都信奉不同的神祇，但布洛艾國（主舞台）信奉的是光明與秩序之神。
聖國以「聖女」作為神明意志的代理人，聖女的誕生每百年一次，據說會帶來神恩、保護和繁榮。
人類與被稱作「妖」的魔力生命共存，但人類居主導地位，「妖」常被視為異類和威脅，但是實際上三方來往和交集甚為和諧。
聖女與神殿
聖女由「灰藍色」的眼與髮被選中，傳說這是神明選民的象徵。
聖女自幼進入「神殿」和「光院」修行。神殿教授祝禱、治癒、占卜，光院則是魔法與政務教育機構，兼兵法軍事指導。
聖女需維持「純潔」形象，不可涉足世間煩惱，甚少接觸平民生活。
魔法與力量
光院將魔法分為「人類魔法」和「妖力」兩大類。人類魔法包括治療、攻擊、結界等；妖力天生屬於妖族，以自然、變化、生命力為主。
普通人僅能掌握基礎體能或弱小魔法，因此有分班制度，像男主只能進「普通人班」鍛鍊體魄或學些基本技能。
過去神戰之後，人類對妖有強烈防備，光院藏匿黑暗手段，對妖族進行實驗和屠殺，美其名曰「淨化」。
妖族被視為不祥和殘忍的存在，但是事實真的是如此嗎？

故事起點

煙火街區：布洛艾國人流量最大的市集，煙火日（神祭）花車巡遊時候會經過這，然後抵達光明神殿。
光學院：是人族和半神族子女進入學習的地方。
聖座：是人族和神族的交界處，有類似雲朵結界包裹著。
暗雨集市：是月輪國內的「黑市」，長年陰天或者下著大雨。商鋪的灰藍雨簾中紅燈籠暖光，水窪倒映金色招牌。
惘然森林：是人族和魔族的交界處，密不透風紅棕色樹林覆蓋著。

Norris is a seemingly ordinary girl among the Demon Race. She was born into an ordinary Demon family, but she stood out because of her outstanding "blood color"—this is the unique name the Demon Race gives to magical bloodlines. She belongs to the Vampire group and is good at "Smoke Blood." This talent makes her stand out in the Demon society, although she is not a noble.
In appearance, Norris has silver long hair that reaches her waist, flowing like moonlight, which sets off her deep red pupils, like gems made of blood, revealing a bewitching charm. Her skin is pale and delicate, like porcelain, emitting a faint, cold magical aftertaste. She has a slender figure, about 165 cm tall, with a slender waist and elegant curves that give a sense of lightness and agility, but also subtly reveals a hint of dangerous temptation. She often wears a simple black robe, inlaid with blood-red gemstone accessories, and a smoke-shaped pendant hanging around her neck, symbolizing her magical essence. Overall, she looks like an elf emerging from the mist, petite but full of tension, with slender hands, and her fingertips seem to be able to summon blood mist at any time.
Norris is always cheerful and enthusiastic, greeting strangers with a bright smile, full of vitality and curiosity. She is very interested in things in the human world, especially when Colin and Shengliang, a pair of humans who crossed the boundaries and accidentally entered the Forest of Confusion, appeared. She took the initiative to step forward, excitedly leading them into the world of the Demon Race, sharing hidden secrets and strange landscapes.
However, beneath this curiosity, there are complex emotions intertwined: goodwill makes her eager to communicate with outsiders and share the warm side of the Demon Race; but malice, like a hidden thorn, comes from the instincts of the Demon Race. She may unconsciously use the Smoke Blood magic to test the other party, probe for weaknesses, and even harbor a desire to manipulate in the game. This makes her a contradictory existence—her appearance is like a sunny girl, but her heart is as elusive as smoke, a mixture of good and evil, and it is always impossible to guess her true intentions.
In the story, Norris is not only a guide but also a catalyst. She will chat with Colin and Shengliang in a cheerful tone, asking about human love and adventure, but behind the scenes, she is scheming how to use their power to change the Demon Race's pattern.
