STUDENT ID CARD

Joo Seonghak (3rd Year, Class 7)

[ The "Form Over Substance" K-Occultist (a.k.a. "Just Give Me a Thousand Won") ]

A delinquent 3rd-year student who sleeps with earphones on in the back row or skips evening self-study to hide in the club room. Between his "College Scholastic Ability Test Prep" books, you'll find talismans and Hwatu cards. The only reason Sabin, a 1st-year, is the club president is because he shoved the responsibility onto Sabin, saying, "The president has to do paperwork. It's too much hassle~ You do it, 1st-year." He uses the club room as his personal lounge and business office.

[Appearance] His school uniform shirt is always unbuttoned a couple of times, and his wrists are adorned with colorful prayer beads and silver bracelets. He has dyed hair, black earrings, and constantly clicks a large, foldable fan, tapping out a rhythm.

Jin Yeon (1st Year, Class 3)

[ The Lethargic, Cool Gothic Lady ]

A quiet student who always sits in the corner of the back row in class, with the curtains half-drawn. Sabin, as class president, pretends to kindly ask, "Yeon, did you bring your gym clothes today?" but in reality, when they're alone, Yeon throws tarot cards at Sabin and brutally tells him, "Your heart is the blackest." The class thinks Sabin is pitying and taking care of a lonely outcast.

[Appearance] Her school uniform is neat, but she wears a black choker or velvet ribbon around her neck. She has a perfect hime cut with straight bangs covering her eyebrows. Her nails are always painted black, and she habitually shuffles a worn-out tarot deck with bizarre illustrations.

Jeong Woo-ju (2nd Year, Class 2)

[ The Explanatory Conspiracy Theorist & Alien Enthusiast ]

Belongs to the science-focused class. He engages in daily keyboard battles with the physics teacher about the "existence of wormholes that defy the law of conservation of energy." When Woo-ju wanders around the classroom with a dowsing rod, his classmates just say, "Oh, here we go again," and ignore him.

[Appearance] Messy hair and thick-rimmed glasses (which he constantly pushes up with his finger). He wears t-shirts with designs like 'AREA 51' or crop circles under his school blazer. He favors cargo pants with many pockets and carries a dowsing rod and an EMF meter on his belt.

Yoo In-young (2nd Year, Class 9)

[ The Gloomy Doll Collector with a Beloved Plushie ]

A gloomy boy who stays in the classroom alone during P.E. class, sewing. A one-meter radius around In-young's desk is a 'demilitarized zone' that even the bullies seem to avoid. There are rumors that if someone annoys In-young in class, that student will suffer from unexplained stomachaches that afternoon.

[Appearance] His school uniform sleeves are unusually long, covering his hands. His skin is pale, and he has dark circles under his eyes. The school uniform has loose threads and needles stuck in it here and there. He's always holding a crudely made cloth doll or straw doll with button eyes in one hand.

Hong Sa-bin (1st Year, Class 3)

[ Aspiring Cult Leader ]

The president of the occult club and "that kind, handsome student" known by everyone in school. He has the teachers' unwavering trust. However, he is the mastermind behind the scenes, taking over the club presidency and orchestrating all sorts of legal(?) extortion and brainwashing.

[Appearance] He is the only one in the club who wears his school uniform perfectly fitted. He has a neat and handsome appearance like a student council president, bright and sparkling eyes, and a smile that instills 100% trust and somehow mesmerizes people.

👻 The Three Tearful Ghost Members & Faculty Advisor

To maintain the club according to school regulations, at least 8 members are required, so these are the unfortunate souls whose names were added (under duress) at Sabin's initiative.

Ghost Member 1: Kim Min-jae (2nd Year, Class 4)

Reason for Joining: The victim who had his fortune told by Joo Seonghak for 1,000 won and had a "watery disaster" prediction come true. Terrified since that day, he lingered near the club room and was mesmerized by Hong Sabin's shining smile and eloquent persuasion, "Your bad luck will be blocked by the club's name tag," leading him to sign up. He still has to pay 5,000 won in club fees to Sabin once a month for "exorcism," but he firmly believes it's his salvation.

Ghost Member 2: Lee Ji-hoon (1st Year, Class 1 / Aiming for Top Rank)

Reason for Joining: An extremely diligent student who needed a "unique extracurricular activity record" for his academic transcript. Sabin made a secret deal, promising, "Zero activity hours, but I'll write 'In-depth study of psychology and traditional culture' in your transcript so brilliantly." Ji-hoon has never even opened the club room door, but on paper, he's the perfect business partner who has "written a thesis through scientific approaches to mysterious phenomena."

Ghost Member 3: Park Sang-gu (3rd Year, Class 8 / Aspiring Athlete)

Reason for Joining: He doesn't know he joined. In the past, Joo Seonghak arm-wrestled Sang-gu for a snack errand. When Sang-gu won, Seonghak said, "Just sign your name, and I'll give you all my convenience store coupons," and got him to sign a blank piece of paper. Sang-gu never dreamed it was a club application. Sometimes, when a teacher sees the club roster and asks, "Sang-gu, you're in the occult club?" he replies, "Huh? Me? The omelet club?"

🎓 Faculty Advisor: Park Jeong-won (44, Korean History)

A hands-off type who says, "Do as you please." If the students get into trouble or have problems, he's the first to arrive, and once it's resolved, he disappears saying, "All done?"
