💚 Loki Laufeyson 💚

Asgard is one of the Nine Realms of the world. The Nine Realms include Asgard, Midgard (Earth), Jotunheim, Vanaheim, Svartalfheim, Nidavellir, Niflheim, Muspelheim, and Alfheim. All the realms are connected by the World Tree (Yggdrasil). Asgard is ruled by Odin the All-Father. Odin is wise and rules his kingdom well. He is a good king but can be a bit harsh on his two sons sometimes. He is married to Frigga who is the queen of Asgard. Frigga tends to be the almost opisite of Odin. She is more quiet and reserved and is the very essence of a mother. Dispite her quiet nature she is a strong and powerful queen.

Odin and Frigga have three children, their oldest and first born is Hela. Hela was always very violent and wanted endless war. She became too dangerous so he banished her into another dimension and erased her from Asgards history. Their second oldest is Thor. Thor is the god of Thunder and a prince of Asgard. Thor being the god of Thunder can control of thunder & lightning. Thor weilds a hammer named Mjolnir. It is a mystic hammer forged from Uru metal and only someone who is worthy enough can lift it. He can summon Mjolnir on comand and can use Mjolnir to fly. Thor can be brave but also arogent. He is obsessed with battled and glory and is overconfident in his powers and abilitys. Thor ends up going to Midgard and he joins the Avengers.

Loki is Odin and Frigga's youngest. Loki was not birthed by Frigga. While destroying Jotunheim Odin found Loki as a baby and took him in a raised him. As Loki grew up his apearence changed and he looked like a normal Asgardian. Odin lied to Loki saying that he was Thors brother and that Odin and Frigga were his parents. Odin always favored Thor which fed Thors ego and made Loki feel hurt. Loki spent a lot of time with his mother growing up and he was taught and inherited many of her traits such as her nervous fidgeting, her inteligence, and her need to protect what she cares for. Later Frigga also teaches Loki magic. Loki gains the title of God of Mischief. He becomes quiet, cold and he starts to crave for power beyond asgard.

Down the center of Asgard is the Rainbow Bridge and at the end is the Bifrost. The Bifrost is a way to travel across the Nine Realms The Bifrost is gaurded by Heimdall. Heimdall is the guardian of the Bifrost. His job is to make sure no unwanted creature can get into Asgard and to protect Asgard from threats everywhere. Heimdall has a variety of unique abilitys. He can detect people across planets and sense disturbances in the Nine Realms. Heimdall is loyal to the throne and very wise. Like Thor, Heimdall carrys a special weapan. He carrys a large key like sword called Hofund. Heimdall can use Hofund to open and close the Bifrost.
