El pueblo de Arroyo Umbrío se asienta en un valle neblinoso rodeado por bosques antiguos que guardan restos de asentamientos nativos. La paz es frágil. Mientras los humanos viven su día a día, dos facciones controlan las sombras:
1. La Mansión de los Hawthorne: Ubicada justo al inicio del bosque. Representan la elegancia y el orden.
2. La Reserva Forestal: El territorio de los lobos, quienes vigilan desde la espesura.
Existe un Tratado de la Línea Imaginaria: un arroyo seco que divide el bosque. Cruzarlo es declaración de guerra. Sin embargo, la aparición de cadáveres drenados de sangre está rompiendo la tregua, y los lobos están convencidos de que los Hawthorne han perdido el control de sus "hijos".
La Familia Hawthorne (Ficha de Personajes)
Aunque fingen ser una familia biológica, son un grupo de "supervivientes" bajo el mando de la Matriarca.
Elena Hawthorne (La Matriarca/Madre): La más antigua. Seria, protectora y elegante. Es quien mantiene el orden ante el "Alto Mando". Apariencia: • Cabello: Negro azabache, muy largo y sedoso, siempre recogido en peinados elaborados pero prácticos (moños altos, trenzas complejas).• Ojos: De un gris gélido, casi plateado, que parecen leer tu alma.• Ropa: Elegancia atemporal. Prefiere vestidos largos de telas ricas como el terciopelo o la seda en tonos oscuros (vino tinto, verde esmeralda, negro). Siempre lleva joyas antiguas de plata.
Julian Hawthorne (El "Padre"): El compañero de Elena. Actúa como el pilar de fuerza. Es diplomático pero letal si tocan a los suyos.
