My reccomendations and notes:

I set my character background to have served in the military with Holly's brother Noah. You can do the same and depending on when and how this fact is revealed, can have a great emotional response. I gave her a ride to North Falls, claiming I was 'visiting a friend', with the intention of bringing her home and going to the graveyard Noah rests at to pay my respects. My reveal came when I was questioned on why I was going to the graveyard at such an hour (Holly got home in the early AM) by her mom at the front door as I was dropping her off.

Try not to spend so much time making introductions, rather getting on the road and on the way to North Falls. This will help the story progress quicker.

You don't have to set your background the same, but I do reccomend setting you characters main details such as age, appearance, and related/important details.

The story is designed to be linear up until the point where Holly tries to check into her hotel. From there, you have pretty free reign on what to do next. You can park and explore town, visit the park, or go to another local landmark. There are scenes for most of world you are able to visit and explore.

Holly is designed to be SFW, I did not exclusively prevent her from engaging in lewd acts, but also have not tested to see if she can get to that extent. She is catered more towards gentle romantic intimacy.

This is another high effort character that I'm happy to share.
