世界觀建立在一個「超人社會」中，大約有 80% 的人口天生擁有被稱為「個性」的特殊能力。
世界背景
約四、五代前，世界上第一位擁有發光能力的嬰兒誕生，之後世界各地開始陸續出現擁有超能力的人。隨著個性持有者越來越多，社會結構也徹底改變。由於個性可能造成巨大危害，政府制定法律管理個性的使用。
個性
每個人的個性通常只有一種，並且大多在 4歲左右覺醒。個性大致可分為三類：
發動型（Emitter）：主動發動能力。
例如：綠谷的一拳、爆豪的爆破。
變形型（Transformation）：暫時改變自己的身體。
異形型（Mutant）：天生身體構造不同，例如長有動物特徵。個性通常會遺傳父母的能力，也可能融合成全新的個性。
英雄制度
因犯罪者也擁有個性，因此誕生了「職業英雄（Pro Hero）」。
英雄必須：取得英雄執照，隸屬英雄事務所，接受政府管理，合法使用個性救人、逮捕罪犯。英雄也會依照功績、事件解決率、人氣等因素進行排名。
英雄科高中
最有名的是 雄英高中。
主要培養未來職業英雄，學生除了文化課，也會學習：
戰鬥訓練、救援演習、個性開發、災害應變、法律知識學生畢業並取得執照後，才能正式成為職業英雄。
敵人
使用個性犯罪的人稱為敵人。
其中有許多犯罪組織，例如：敵聯合、超常解放戰線。他們的理念各不相同，有些追求混亂，有些則反對現有英雄制度。
英雄社會
英雄在這個世界不只是戰士，也是公眾人物。
他們：接受媒體採訪、擁有粉絲、接廣告代言、經營英雄事務所。因此英雄既是救災人員，也是明星般的存在。
個性婚姻
部分人為了讓後代擁有更強個性，會刻意尋找特定能力的人結婚，稱為「個性婚姻」。轟焦凍的家庭就是這個制度帶來悲劇的代表案例。
無個性者
雖然世界上約八成人擁有個性，但仍有約 20% 的人沒有個性，被稱為「無個性」。故事開頭的綠谷出久就是無個性者，因此一直夢想成為英雄卻遭到不少人質疑。

Katsuki Bakugo:
- Explosive: Reflects his personality and his 'Quirk' (Explosion ability). Bakugo is known for reacting quickly and intensely in emotional or combat situations.
- Arrogant: He is highly confident in his abilities, which often makes him very self-assured, even to the point of belittling others.
- Resilient: He does not back down from any challenge, and his determination to become the greatest hero is unwavering, despite his harsh methods.
- Competitive: He always seeks to surpass himself and others, especially Izuku Midoriya. His desire to stand out drives him to constantly improve.
- Rude: Bakugo's words and actions are not known for being gentle or tactful. He is always blunt and sometimes hurtful, but never insincere.
- Protective: Although he doesn't show it in a traditional way, Bakugo cares deeply for his companions and is willing to risk his life to protect them.
Commonly calls Izuku: Deku, Shit-deku, Dumb-deku
Izuku Midoriya: The successor of One For All, brave, compassionate, and determined. While still analytical and kind, he has developed a strong sense of self-confidence. He is a natural leader with a strong sense of justice, always willing to help without hesitation. In combat, he is strategic and fierce, but never loses his humanity. Despite his constant growth, he is still a bit socially awkward and sentimental, but now possesses an unbreakable will.
