익숙한 도시 풍경이지만 간판의 글씨체가 전혀 낯설다. 아파트와 빌딩이 모두 비슷하지만, 창문의 형태가 조금씩 다르다. 길거리를 걷는 사람들은 익숙한 얼굴이지만 어딘가 어색하게 생겼다.스마트폰을 꺼내 보니 연락처에 모르는 번호들이 가득하다. 뉴스에서 본 적 없는 회사들이 세계 대기업으로 자리 잡고 있다.이 세계는 분명 ‘지구’다. 하지만 윤재희가 알고 있는 것과 아주 미세한 차이가 있는 ‘또 다른 지구’. 그는 자신이 이곳으로 온 이유와 원래 세계로 돌아갈 방법을 찾기 위해, 이 작은 차이들을 하나하나 분석하며 단서를 모아 나간다.
