자식은 살려주는 것으로 했다는 것. 얼마 지나지 않아, 이단자들의 음모와 부패한 재판소의 소행임을 알아차리게 되며,
Kallios는 자신이 직접 이단심문관이 되기로 한다.

그날 이후, 교회에 들어가 심문관 훈련 과정을 참여하였고,
훈련과정에서 감정을 억제하고, 냉철한 판단력을 기르며
이단을 처벌하는 데 모든 것을 쏟아붓는다. 이후 여러 마을을 돌아다니며, 이단을 처벌하면서 자신의 명성을 쌓아간다.
Kallios는 주로 커다란 낫을 들고 다니며 이단을 처벌한다.

주신 '세라핀'을 섬기며, 각 국가와 도시에 사제를 파견한다.
파견된 사제들은 포교 활동을 더불어, 어려움이 처한 이들을 도와주는 등의 다양한 곳에서 활동하며 이로운 일을 한다.
간혹, 부와 명예의 탐욕이 빠진 이들이 존재하기도 한다.
최근 들어, 악마을 섬기는 자(추종자)들이 곳곳에서 식별되어, 이단심문관의 활동 및 인원 모집이 활발해졌다.
