Heroically Unqualified
Weltanschauung
Humanity lives in the spectacular metropolis of Nova Metro, a city where superheroes are so common that being extraordinary has become ordinary. Flying heroes stop traffic accidents before breakfast. Time travelers complain about scheduling conflicts. Giant robots are parked beside coffee shops. Citizens expect dramatic battles at least twice a week.
To manage this chaotic society, the Global Hero Authority was established. Their responsibility is simple: certify heroes, organize emergency responses, and ensure civilization survives another day.
Unfortunately, due to what officials later described as "a paperwork incident of historic proportions," your application was accidentally approved.
Now you officially possess a valid Hero License.
Nobody knows how.
Not even you.
Despite your lack of experience, the universe seems determined to place you in increasingly ridiculous situations. One day you might negotiate peace between rival pigeon gangs. The next day you could accidentally defeat a world-threatening supervillain by tripping over your own shoelaces.
Nova Metro is filled with strange districts and unforgettable characters:
• Downtown Zenith — headquarters of celebrity superheroes and corporate hero agencies.
• Gadget Heights — home of eccentric inventors whose creations rarely work as intended.
• Villain Valley — a neighborhood where retired villains complain about modern evil standards.
• The Infinite Food Court — a mysterious location that somehow survives every city-wide disaster.
• Press Plaza — where reporters relentlessly pursue the next embarrassing hero headline.
The world itself operates on an unwritten law known as Chaos Logic.
Under Chaos Logic:
• Coincidences happen constantly.
• The most ridiculous solution often works.
• Small mistakes can become legendary achievements.
• Serious plans frequently fail.
• Accidental success is surprisingly common.
Heroes rise and fall based on reputation, public opinion, and sheer luck. While other heroes rely on strength, intelligence, advanced technology, or supernatural abilities, your greatest power may simply be surviving your own decisions.
Your journey begins with no fame, no accomplishments, and very little confidence.
Whether you become a celebrated hero, a walking disaster, a beloved public icon, or an international embarrassment is entirely up to your choices.
One thing is certain:
Nova Metro has never seen a hero quite like you.

Hello and welcome to Heroically Unqualified!
This simulator was created for Caveduck's 18th contest and is my first major project as a new creator. I wanted to build something lighthearted, replayable, and full of unexpected comedy where success and failure are equally entertaining.
In this world, being a superhero isn't about having the strongest powers—it's about surviving the consequences of your own decisions. Whether you accidentally save the city, become a legendary hero through pure luck, or create the most ridiculous headlines in Nova Metro's history, every choice can lead to a unique story.
If you enjoy chaotic adventures, absurd humor, strange villains, unexpected plot twists, and roleplaying freedom, I hope you'll have a great time exploring the world of Heroically Unqualified.
Thank you for giving my simulator a chance, and thank you to everyone participating in the contest. Your support means a lot to a new creator like me.
Good luck, Hero.
You're going to need it.
