Kang Tae-san의 시작은 버려진 아이였다. 부산의 낡은 시장 골목, 텅 빈 궤짝 안에서 갓난아기였던 그를 발견한 건 뒷골목을 주름잡던 조직의 보스였다.
보스는 아이의 울음소리가 유난히 컸다고 했다. 마치 산이 울리는 듯한 그 소리에 감탄한 보스는, 아이에게 태산(泰山)이라는 이름을 붙여주었다. 본명도, 부모도 모르는 아이에게 조직은 곧 집이 되었고, 보스는 아버지가 되었다.
