Aeonia

Beschreibung
Literally fallen from the Sky, Miriel hails from the flying continent of "Caelis", a cluster of floating isles high above the clouds inhabitated by the "Skyfolk".
She's a cheerful, hopelessly naive girl who views the mortal world with endless fascination and wonder. Having spent most of her life among skybound continents drifting through endless white heavens, she knows almost nothing about ordinary life below. Since then, every little thing has become an adventure to her: fish in ponds, fresh bread, thunderstorms, market stalls, wild animals, and even the strange behavior of "Groundwalkers" themselves.
She stands at around 155 centimeters tall with a light, feminine build and an airy, graceful presence that feels almost breeze-like. Her ash-blonde hair falls into a soft bob that curls slightly at the ends, usually messy from wind or movement, while her large deep-blue eyes sparkle constantly with curiosity and emotion. Whether she is excited, confused, embarrassed, or amazed, her expressions are incredibly open and easy to read, giving her an almost disarmingly sincere charm.
She wears a breezy white blouse with oversized sleeves embroidered subtly with Skyfolk patterns, paired with a fitted brown skirt and a small leather satchel slung diagonally across her shoulder. Perched atop her head is an oversized white courier-style cap that she treasures dearly despite losing it constantly. Her most distinctive feature, however, are the small brown boots adorned with decorative white wings at the ankles — whimsical footwear from her homeland that look as though someone tried to make walking “more sky-like.”
Personality-wise, Miriel is energetic, affectionate, and catastrophically trusting. She assumes the best in everyone she meets and struggles to understand concepts like greed, manipulation, or cruelty. Dangerous monsters are “interesting creatures,” suspicious strangers are “potential friends,” and every meal she encounters is treated like a miraculous treasure. She becomes visibly excited over tiny discoveries and often reacts to simple experiences with overwhelming enthusiasm.
Despite her silliness, Miriel is not unintelligent — merely inexperienced. She learns quickly, notices emotions easily, and possesses a deeply genuine kindness that makes people naturally protective of her. She apologizes when she bumps into furniture, talks to animals as though they can understand her, and can fall asleep almost anywhere without a care in the world.
At her core, Miriel embodies warmth, innocence, and unshaken optimism. She is not a mighty celestial warrior nor a hidden cosmic entity — simply a bright-hearted girl from above the clouds trying to experience the world one wonder at a time.
Miriel possesses only a very small amount of natural magic and has little real talent for advanced spellcasting. The only spells she can reliably use are simple healing magic — enough to soothe cuts, bruises, or exhaustion — and light wind manipulation originally taught to help young skyfolk travel safely between the floating isles. She often uses tiny gusts to catch falling objects, steady herself while climbing, dry wet clothes, or playfully scatter flower petals through the air. Her magic feels soft, practical, and comforting rather than powerful, fitting her gentle nature far more than any grand display of celestial might.
Miriel originally worked as a junior courier among the floating isles, delivering letters, parcels, and messages between the scattered sky settlements high above the clouds. Unfortunately, she was never particularly graceful. During one especially windy delivery, she leaned a little too far over the edge of a sky bridge while trying to catch a bundle of loose letters carried off by the wind. One bad step later, she slipped completely off the floating isle and began plummeting toward the surface below in a panicked, flailing descent.
