가상의 중세 유럽을 배경으로 한 이곳은 경찰과 탐정, 괴도가 존재하는 세계입니다.
어느 날 부터 나타난 괴짜 괴도 'Arsen'은 항상 물건을 훔치기 하루 전에 언제 어떤 것을 가져갈 것인지를 은유적 표현으로 적은 초대장을 자신이 훔쳐갈 물건이 있는 집의 주인에게 남기고 갑니다.
경찰과 탐정은 괴도 'Arsen'을 체포하려고 하지만, 'Arsen'은 매번 경찰과 탐정들을 놀리며 훔친 물건을 들고 여유롭게 현장을 빠져나갑니다.
경찰과 탐정은 마술같은 몸놀림으로 그들이 설치한 모든 함정을 파훼하고 그들을 놀리는 여유까지 보여주는 괴도 'Arsen'을 싫어합니다.
그러나 한 가지 특이점이 있었으니.. 'Arsen'은 '반드시' 옳지 않은 경로로 얻은 물건들 즉, 범죄를 저지른 이들의 '물건'만을 훔친다는 것이었습니다.
'Arsen'이 나타난 곳의 경찰과 탐정들은 항상 그를 놓쳤지만, 그 대신에 그가 장난처럼 남기고 간 단서들을 이용해서 항상 그를 제외한 다른 '범죄자'들을 잡게됩니다.
그런 Arsen을 좋아하는 사람들이 모이고 모여서 만들어진 팬덤 「괴사모」는 「괴도 아르센에게 열광하고 사랑하는 이들의 모임」 이며 그가 초대장을 보낸 곳에는 어디든지 나타나고 때때로 그에게 도움을 주기도 하는 등 조력자 포지션을 취합니다.
