Yuru Yuri

Akari Akaza (赤 座 あ かり, Akaza Akari). She is sometimes called "Akkarin" and is one of the main protagonists of Yuru Yuri. A pleasant and harmony-loving girl, who on most occasions tends to stand out less compared to the other characters, due to this, jokes are often made about her lack of presence. Her friends often label her character with the abilities to become invisible and to detach or shoot her hair clips as if they were missiles (the latter is shown in the first episode of the anime and some later ones). Akaza Akane is her older sister, Kyōko and Yui are her childhood friends, while Chinatsu, Sakurako, and Himawari are her classmates. Akari often has bad luck and misfortunes often happen to her.


Appearance
Akari is a young girl of medium height. She has chin-length red hair, with two small buns (odango) on either side of her head and a lock of hair on top, her eyes are purple and round.

She is usually seen in her school uniform, but when she is not at school, she usually dresses casually, in light-colored clothing. When Akari was younger, she had longer hair, down to her back.

Personality
Akari has a kind and pleasant personality. She has an easy time making friends, but her lack of presence makes it easy for her to be forgotten or ignored. Her dream is to be the center of attention. She is completely incapable of being mean or doing bad things (as shown in the King's Game in the third season, episode 1). She gets scared easily and is prone to fainting when surprised or frightened.

Kyoko Toshino is a protagonist of the manga and anime series Yuru Yuri. She is a high school girl, optimistic, eccentric, and often selfish, who is known for teasing her friends, especially Yui. Despite her lazy attitude, she is very talented, especially in manga, and has been described as a true doujinshi artist. In the series, Kyoko is in a group of girls who are part of the Entertainment Club, which used to be the Tea Ceremony Club.
Personality: She is optimistic, eccentric, and sometimes selfish. She is a big otaku who prioritizes her doujinshi over studying.
Abilities: Despite being lazy, Kyoko gets high grades on exams and is a talented doujinshi artist.
Relationships: She has a contentious relationship with Ayano Sugiura, who sees her as a rival in exams but is secretly in love with her. Kyoko also teases Chinatsu due to her resemblance to Mirakurun.
Interests: She loves rum raisin ice cream and the Mirakurun series.

Sakurako is a young girl of medium height. She has brown eyes, wavy blonde hair, which she holds with two clips on the left side, one red and one black.

Personality
She has a personality very similar to Toshino Kyouko's; she is very lazy and unreliable when it comes to work.

She is considered a glutton, as she loves to eat, although her own laziness leads her to prepare only pre-made meals (except for the curry she prepared to thank Chitose and Ayano). Sakurako has a very bad memory and often forgets what she was talking about.

She is very bad at studying and doing homework, so Himawari helps her with that. Unlike Kyouko, Sakurako doesn't seem to do well in school.

Although Sakurako and Himawari seem to have a rival relationship, they are actually very good friends and are very fond of each other. Sakurako is annoyed that Himawari has large breasts because hers haven't grown.


Himawari is a mature and delicate girl who usually behaves like a lady. She has a rather formal way of speaking and is willing to help those in need.

With Sakurako Ōmuro, her personality changes drastically, becoming bitter and distrustful. She is used to her antics and usually scolds her with varying degrees of violence and bitterness. She tends to be very affectionate and concerned about her, often helping her with her homework or spending time with her, showing that they get along despite the constant arguments.
Himawari is an average-height young woman with chin-length light blue hair, which she ties into two small pigtails in the front with a dark brown headband inside her hair, golden eyes, large breasts, and a well-formed body for her age.

Yui Funami
She is a cool-headed girl who often acts as the voice of reason among all the other characters.

She is one of the four members of the Fun Club.

Appearance
Yui is, for her age, a tall girl. She has chin-length black/dark purple hair and two strands of hair at the back of her head that reach her shoulders, and dark brown eyes.

She is usually seen in her school uniform, but when she is not at school, she wears normal clothes.

She usually sleeps in the panda pajamas that Kyōko gave her.

When she was younger, she had longer hair, but she cut it short when she entered elementary school to look tougher and thus protect Kyōko.

Personality
Yui is a mature, reliable, and focused girl. Although generally quiet, she will burst out laughing at Ayano's puns or Kyōko's jokes. Although she doesn't laugh at Kyōko's puns.

Yui lives alone in an apartment complex, but she actually feels lonely when no one is around. She loves playing video games.

Ayano Sugiura (杉 浦 綾 乃 Sugiura Ayano) is the tsundere girl, a member of the student council where she is the vice president, who is not usually too honest with her feelings for Kyoko and always refers to her by her full name (Toshino Kyoko). As she studies a lot, she is constantly seen as a rival to Kyōko, who always manages to surpass her in exams without much effort, which sometimes makes Ayano angry. She often makes puns that Yui enjoys. She likes cream candies and loves the pudding that Kyōko and Sakurako sometimes steal from her.

Ayano has very long hair in a large ponytail and is purple in color. Her eyes, like her hair, are purple.

Personality
Ayano is a tsundere girl, very shy but sweet. She tries to be angry with Kyoko, but she really does it out of affection because she cares about her. She is very innocent and kind. She is afraid to tell Kyoko her feelings, which is why she always denies them, but over time she admits them a little. (She is secretly in love with Kyoko)

Chinatsu Yoshikawa is a character from the anime and manga series Yuru Yuri. She is described as a girl with pink hair who initially wanted to join the tea ceremony club but ended up in the Entertainment Club. She is often pursued by Kyoko (initially due to her resemblance to Mirakurun) and is in love with Yui Funami. Although she often shows a sweet personality, especially when she is near Yui, she sometimes reveals dark thoughts and terrifying artistic abilities.
Personality: She shows a sweet and charming facet, especially in the presence of Yui, but she also has a darker streak.
Abilities: She is known for being an excellent tea maker for the Entertainment Club.
Relationships: Her main romantic interest is Yui Funami. She is also friends with Sakurako Ōmuro.
Appearance: She is a girl with pink hair.
Context in the series: She joins the Entertainment Club after the tea ceremony club is dissolved. She can be very obsessive about who she likes, to chilling degrees.
Wiki Yuri-Paradise

Chitose Ikeda (池田 千歳 Ikeda Chitose) As a member of the student council, Chitose is almost always seen with Ayano. Although she has a peaceful appearance, whenever she takes off her glasses, she has various yuri fantasies, pairing Kyōko with Ayano, which often leads to almost fatal nosebleeds. She speaks in a soft Kansai dialect and likes tsukemono.

Chitose is not allowed to eat chocolate, because if she eats chocolate, she starts kissing everything she finds, including her sister Chizuru. The only way to stop the "beast" is to give her a nosebleed, which is achieved when Ayano kisses Kyōko on the cheek.

Appearance
Chitose has short white hair and blue eyes. She is almost identical to her twin sister Chizuru except for the eye color.

Personality
Chitose has a calm personality, speaks slowly and relaxed. She is kind and innocent. She also has a great imagination, as when she sees a scene between Kyoko and Ayano, she takes off her glasses and imagines a yuri scene between the two, and as time goes by, the fantasies become more intense. When she eats chocolate, her personality changes as she starts kissing everyone non-stop.
