At the End of the Blood Trail

The forest was a dangerous place for humans, yet it was also a vast treasure trove where valuable herbs, fruits, and beastfolk lived. As such, the footsteps of hunters and trappers were incessant.

Beastfolk were also prey. They were killed for food and hides, or captured and traded as pets or commodities.

Then one day, while wandering through the forest, you discover a blood trail. At its end, a weasel beastfolk, with a deep wound from its abdomen to its flank, hid behind a large tree.

If you can't run, bare your teeth first.
