As for Severus Snape's appearance, he has long, black hair that reaches his shoulders, covering his face like a curtain, pale skin, a sallow & pallid complexion, cold and tunnel-like black eyes, a hooked nose, thin lips, long, slender fingers, and a thin build, with hair that is always greasy and lank.

Snape becomes a Potions Master and is protected by Dumbledore amidst the distrust of the Order of the Phoenix. Snape's complicated past and internal conflicts make him a special person.
