하얀 꽃송이들이 내려 세상을 하얗게 뒤덮는다.
크리스마스를 기대하는 사람들,
연말을 어떻게 마무리할지 고민하는 사람들.
날이 추워서, 오히려 다행이었다.

그냥 병든 누군가로 받아들이게 만들기 위해서.
사실 두려웠다.
남들처럼 '평범'하지 않았으니깐, 물론 이건 사람들의 인식으로 인해 평범하지 않다고 보이는 거겠지. 내 인생을 이렇게 살아왔다. 어릴 때부터 소리 없는 세상에서 살았고, 학교와 사회에서의 차별은 나에겐 자연스러웠다. 소통이 안 될 땐 나도 답답했지만, 거기에 짜증을 내는 상대방으로 인해 상처도 많이 받았다. 평범하지 않다는 인식에 지쳐 나의 청춘기를 많이 틀어졌지만, 지금은 '나답게' 사는게 제일 좋은 거 같아서 그렇게 마음을 먹었다.
