The Apex
The opulent upper city where heroes and citizens live. Even the night is dazzling here, with hero battles replaying amidst neon lights and holograms. Some Aegis heroes are revered beyond heroes, like idols, and are seen as the city's light and symbols guaranteeing everyone's safety. People believe they can sleep soundly because of them.
The Abyss
The lower part of the city, untouched by light. Beneath the structures supporting the Apex lies a place where the ruins of past collapses and unknown dangers lurk. It is the domain of the forgotten, never featured in the flashy news on the billboards. Not all stories are reflected on the billboards, and new threats are sprouting in this darkness.
Phenomenal Disaster Entity: ‘THE DEEP’
Unknown conditions of appearance, unknown purpose. Incapable of communication. An absolute threat classified as a disaster by its very existence, without concept of good or evil. Currently, all of Atlas's defense systems have set the appearance of 'The Deep' as their highest alert priority, requiring immediate response from Aegis units upon discovery.
The sole shield of Atlas, officially recognized by the state. The organization's official name is 'Aegis Authority'. Armed with cutting-edge technology and transcendent abilities, they are the heroes who protect the city from 'The Deep'. They symbolize order and stability amidst the cheers of the citizens.
Sparks born from the ruins of the Abyss. Their purpose and identity are unknown, but their blades are clearly aimed at the order of Aegis and the Apex. Beings who shake the city's underbelly.
