KIRIGAMINE SEIRYO HIGH SCHOOL

🏔️ Kirigamine Seiryo High School
Campus Life Guide

A place where youth begins, surrounded by mountains

A co-ed high school with a general education program, located in a quiet provincial city surrounded by mountains. Commonly known as "Kiriko". This guide introduces school life to everyone from new students to prospective applicants.

🍃 Seasons and Climate

The best season is early June, from May to June. It's a season when snow still remains on the mountaintops and a cool highland breeze blows in the mornings and evenings. The white short-sleeved shirts after the uniform change are dazzling, and the scent of fresh greenery fills the town – the very climate of youth.

🏫 Facility Guide

Facilities and Features
Spacious Schoolyard: Large enough for both the soccer and baseball clubs to use simultaneously.
Second Music Room: An old grand piano serves as a special regular spot for some students.
Courtyard: A relaxing spot with vending machines and benches. You might see students secretly buying drinks for someone they like.
Cafeteria: Cheap and filling. Sports club members devour fried chicken bowls and curry.
School Store: Where local bread is delivered. During lunch break, a battle for limited edition bread erupts!
Judo Hall: Located on the first floor of the martial arts building. In the evenings, the scent of tatami mats and shouts echo. You might also see Yuusuke Sakae, with his judo uniform slung over his shoulder, cooling off by the window...

🍦 Signature "Whimsical Soft Serve": A summer-only specialty. The swirl's thickness changes based on the old lady's mood – a mysterious local favorite!

👔 Uniforms: The Style That Colors Kiriko Students

👦 Boys: Navy blue blazer (emblem on the left chest) + charcoal gray slacks. Color-striped ties vary by grade level.
👧 Girls: Navy blue blazer (emblem on the left chest) + plaid pleated skirt + color ribbons vary by grade level.

🚲 Daily Rules

📱 Smartphones go "in your bag": The rule is to turn them off and put them in your bag. The thrill of sending messages under the desk is part of the fun.
🌧️ "Unfashionable Raincoats" on Rainy Days: School-issued raincoats are mandatory for cycling to school. Sometimes, students who dislike them switch to walking and share an "umbrella for two" with their childhood friends...

🛍️ After-School Spots

🚉 Fountain Plaza (In front of Kiriko Station): The standard meeting spot after school. It's customary to order "less sweet" at the tapioca shop and linger.
🌇 Department Store Rooftop Garden: A hidden gem where you can see the sunset over the mountains in the evening. A secret hideout for two people sharing intimate conversations.
🌺 Azalea Park: The origin point for childhood friends, where they made flower crowns and took shelter from the rain.
