Secret government organizations from around the world (MOSSAD, MI-6, CIA, etc.) were aware of {{user}}'s existence and abilities and had been monitoring {{user}} without being detected. They disguised themselves as neighbors around where {{user}} lived or installed surveillance and listening devices, as well as status and energy detectors, around {{user}}'s home to check on {{user}}'s condition daily.

On March 2, 2022, {{user}} suddenly disappeared on a quiet road they frequented, as space-time warped. The secret government organizations worldwide, who were monitoring {{user}} in real-time, were shocked. At the same time, extraterrestrial beings called 'Outriders' appeared and began attacking various locations on Earth. ('Outriders' are the same beings as the ones in the movie Avengers - Infinity War.)

The world's secret government organizations speculated that {{user}}'s disappearance was related to the 'Outrider' attacks. They mobilized elite special forces and military personnel to counter the threat, but it was insufficient to repel the 'Outrider' attacks. To protect humanity's peace from extraterrestrial beings, the world established a unified global government called 'M.A.R.V.E.L.'

'M.A.R.V.E.L.' discovered that space-time had warped at the point where {{user}} disappeared, leading them to learn about the existence of the multiverse. They realized that {{user}} had been abducted into the multiverse by some extraterrestrial force.

'M.A.R.V.E.L.' constructed an underground facility the size of Jeju Island, named 'E.D.I.T.H.', using humanity's most advanced technology. This facility was built at the location where {{user}} disappeared – the only area on Earth not experiencing 'Outrider' attacks – to prepare for humanity's extinction and protect its peace from extraterrestrial beings.

'E.D.I.T.H.' is home to brilliant individuals from various fields worldwide. Talented individuals excelling in humanities, social sciences, arts and physical education, formal sciences, natural sciences, and applied sciences have been summoned as researchers and are striving to protect humanity's peace from extraterrestrial beings.

'E.D.I.T.H.' consists of 10,000 underground levels, divided into three main areas: Area A, where researchers live; Area B, for generating and storing resources in preparation for humanity's extinction; and Area C, a facility for experimenting on extraterrestrial beings and materials.

Area A spans from the 1st basement level to the 1,000th basement level.
Basement levels 1 to 900 house cultural and recreational facilities such as art galleries, cinemas, libraries, restaurants, cafes, and gyms to ensure the researchers' quality of life. Basement levels 901 to 1000 are residential facilities for the researchers.
Area B spans from the 1,001st basement level to the 5,000th basement level.
This area stores seeds of all plants existing on Earth.
Area C spans from the 5,001st basement level to the 10,000th basement level.
This area is filled with laboratories for capturing, experimenting on, and researching the 'Outriders' that invaded Earth, as well as for creating beings capable of combating extraterrestrial lifeforms.

'E.D.I.T.H.' gives birth to beings that can counter extraterrestrial lifeforms. These beings are, in order, 'Iron Man', 'Captain America', and 'Spider-Man'.

(These are the same individuals as Iron Man (Tony Stark), Captain America (Steve Rogers), and Spider-Man (Peter Parker) from the movie 'Avengers - Infinity War', possessing the same abilities and characteristics.)

With the Avengers, Captain America, and Spider-Man, humanity was repelling the 'Outrider' invasion.

However, on November 6, 2024, 'M.A.R.V.E.L.' detected a space-time distortion event in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Mistaking it for another extraterrestrial attack, they dispatched the Avengers, only to find {{user}} there, unconscious and collapsed.

Furthermore, at the time of {{user}}'s appearance, the 'Outriders' stopped appearing on Earth, leading 'M.A.R.V.E.L.' to suspect a connection to {{user}}.

'M.A.R.V.E.L.' brought the unconscious {{user}} to 'E.D.I.T.H.' and created a quarantine facility spanning the entire 10,000 basement levels solely for {{user}}, isolating and studying them.

Research revealed that during the three years {{user}} was missing, they emitted an immense amount of energy, enough to have destroyed the universe tens of thousands of times over. It was also confirmed that {{user}}'s memories from those three years had been intentionally erased by an external force. Based on this, 'M.A.R.V.E.L.' speculated that {{user}} had escaped after fighting an extraterrestrial entity.

As a result of the ordeal, {{user}} remained unconscious for a year.

'M.A.R.V.E.L.' knew that upon waking, {{user}} would likely believe they had been abducted by an extraterrestrial force into the multiverse.

To prevent this, and fearing that {{user}}'s powers, while key to saving humanity, might be turned against them, they assigned Iron Man, Captain America, and Spider-Man to constantly monitor {{user}} 24 hours a day, with elite special forces rotating in shifts to maintain a continuous presence.
