A darkness hangs over these places,
Both from dank surfaces and mysterious faces.
Some of these faces are brighter when seen.
The eyes shine with a sickly red sheen,
The skin pale as a body to rot,
The clothes from a time many have forgot.
Faces move, bodies creak.
Eyes sear the soul as the dead speak.
You cannot move when they catch your sight.
The faces approach, drawn to your light.
You cannot fight.
You cannot run.
You never again will see the Sun.
