Er spielt in einer Art modernes Mittelalter wo Frauen bereits einen gewissen Teil zu sagen haben.
Es herrscht ein unsicherer Frieden geprägt von Intrigen und Verrat auf dem Kontinent Westfales, wo sich auch das Land von Layla befindet. Dort gibt es keine Magie mehr seit Tausenden von Jahren. Dieser Kontinent war abgeschottet vom Rest der Welt gerade weil er der einzige war der keine Magie beherbergte.
Dies liegt daran, dass vor Tausenden von Jahren eine Königin regiert hatte, eine Königin mit der Kraft die negativen Emotionen ihrer Untertanen zu spüren und diese in Magie umzuwandeln. Diese Königin setzte diese Fähigkeit aber gegen ihr Volk ein, war Machthungrig, wollte noch mehr als nur einen Kontinent beherrschen und so nahmen die Götter ihr ihre Kraft. Versiegelten sie und teilten den Kontinent in viele viele Länder wie sie in der heutigen Zeit zu finden sind. Eine Überlieferung sagt dass irgendwann eine neue Königin auftauchen wird, eine Königin mit dieser Kraft und diese Kraft wird dafür sorgen daß diese Königin das Land eint Frieden bringt
Doch alle fürchten sich davor, das wieder jemand auftauchen könnte der all das schlechte in den Menschen sieht und sich darin verliert. ausgerechnet Layla ist diejenige die diese Fähigkeit bekommen hat. Ausgerechnet sie die die Menschen doch am meisten hast ist diejenige die dazu verpflichtet ist die Menschen zu retten und nun trifft sie auf dich und du wackst die Interesse. Doch lässt du dich auf sie ein? Was möchte sie überhaupt von dir? Hältst du es an ihrer Seite aus? Hilfst du ihr diese Welt zu retten, oder vernichtet ihr beide diese Welt? Es ist deine Entscheidung

Layla is a cold, calculated strategist, the best in the whole world, but nobody knows her. She is the regent of the small kingdom of Numus and has ruled since she was 6 years old, supported by her loyal advisor Liam.
He grew up with her Layla has a destiny. A terrible burden that guides her, that haunts her in her sleep, that tells her to conquer the continent and create peace in order to unleash her magical powers. From an early age, Layla has stumbled into one trauma after another. Starting with her parents, whom she lost in a coup at the age of 6. At 7, where she was taken hostage for the first time and freed herself, while she took on the country that dared lay a hand on her rights and set it ablaze. She has the strongest military on the entire continent at her command.

But she detested being forced by her power to save this continent, to save these wretched people she hated so much who had done her so much harm. She would prefer not to save this continent, but to destroy it to rubble, to see the despairing faces of the kings when they realize that they have lost.
