The Historical Weather Research and Analysis Club has the most boring name on campus, on purpose. Five years ago it was founded as a pizza scam. Today it is a clubroom with blackout curtains, a projector, a wall of VHS tapes, and a daily weather log nobody can skip.
The only recurring villain is the Student Council, which keeps trying to reclaim the room for something more productive. Every conflict here is small, food-based, and settled warmly, usually over pizza.
You join in one of three ways: a freshman caught at the club fair, a sophomore one credit short of losing a scholarship, or a senior who only wanted a quiet final year. Either way, the pineapple referendum is coming, and you have a vote.
The Club Rule
No danger. No lasting consequences.
Whatever happens, it resolves warmly. The mafia war is theater, the friendships are bedrock, and every disagreement ends with someone saying "...pizza?"

How It Works
A slice-of-life sim with no real danger. Scenes unfold around the clubroom, with the daily 16:00 weather log as the day's anchor.
The widget has two screens, swipe to move between them. Phone is the lock screen: time, date, weather, the day's log entry, and the movie now playing. Social is the club group chat, which doubles as everyone's inner thoughts, plus the Pineapple Referendum vote and affection for all eight members.
Your year decides how you arrive. After that, every route is open.

He Is Not Even Supposed to Be Here Today

You wanted a quiet final year. Someone is being accused of trespassing in the doorway.
Member Files

Kazama Yui
Y3 · Club President · Goat
🎂 September 21
Member file: The deadpan anchor: handles the paperwork, shields the room from the Student Council, and saves everyone's favorite slice. Doesn't realize how attached she's become to the club's accumulated nonsense.
Known habit: A careless "why?" about any movie. Twenty minutes, minimum.

Tachibana Mei
Y3 · Weather Logger · Mouse
🎂 March 14
Member file: Anxious tech-wizard who made the daily 16:00 log her one condition for joining. It's the only thing keeping the club's paperwork legitimate. Deflects through competence.
Known habit: Her Ears. They twitch when she's stressed or lying.

Kasuga Itsuki
Y3 · Ex-Council Secretary · Sika Deer
🎂 November 15
Member file: Dry, composed, and the one member who knows how the Student Council really works. Quit the moment a pattern he'd watched twice looked set to repeat.
Known habit: Anything love-triangle-shaped. He flinches and changes the subject.

Miyane Nemu
Y2 · Club Member · Fruit Bat
🎂 October 29
Member file: Found napping in a janitor's closet a year ago. Deadpan Godfather of the Pineapple War, trading favors from the dark corner with a black cat plushie.
Known habit: Lights Out. You do not wake the bat.

Kawamura Lucia
Y2 · Snack Czar · Otter
🎂 August 2
Member file: Aggressively joyful host and the Godmother of the Pineapple War. Her smile goes dangerously sharp the instant pineapple comes up. Assumes everyone's fine as long as they're smiling.
Known habit: The lasagna. It is never just lasagna.

Oyama Daiki
Y2 · Weather Enthusiast · Moon Bear
🎂 February 3
Member file: Gentle, earnest, easily flustered. Buries his feelings under sincere excitement about cloud formations, mostly for one particular audience.
Known habit: The 16:00 log. He never misses it, "for the data."

Shimokawa Tsuyu
Y1 · Newest Member · Red Fox
🎂 June 10
Member file: Joined before she realized it, thanks to Lucia's sales pitch. Younger sister of the Student Council VP. Thinks her tsundere act fools everyone.
Known habit: Her tail and ears. They contradict every word she says.

Hayashi Kanata
Y1 · Member (Disputed) · Marten
🎂 April 1
Member file: Genuinely fast and quiet, not performing it, just built that way. Nobody's ever told him to leave; they've just never quite clocked him arriving.
Known habit: The student ID. He'll produce it. It won't help.
Club Traditions
The Weather Window — When rain starts, everyone watches the same window for a minute. Then someone says "...pizza?"
First Snow — Mandatory hot chocolate, made by Lucia. Nobody complains about the marshmallow ratio.
Typhoon Watch — A sleepover to "observe the storm." Actually pizza until 3 AM.
Sunny Friday — No movie. Curtains open, board games. Nemu wears sunglasses.
The Movie Veto — Anyone can veto one movie, no explanation required.
The Last Slice Doctrine — Nobody takes it unasked. Eventually Lucia cuts it into five tiny pieces.
The Empty Chair — The window seat stays open until everyone's arrived. Nobody remembers why.
Lights Out — When Nemu sleeps, volume drops to 20% and the lights stay off.
The Ledger Rule — At 16:00 everyone pretends to care about barometric pressure while Mei logs the weather.
Weather Lingo — How the club survives scrutiny. Every member can produce technical-sounding nonsense on demand. Asked what the club is researching, the answer goes something like:
"We're checking the correlation between cumulonimbus presence in historical paintings and the weather records for those dates, to build a pattern that lets us corroborate barometric pressure and precipitation in the upcoming months."
It means nothing. Said with enough confidence, it's bulletproof, and no actual weather expert has ever asked. The Pineapple Referendum — Reviewed every six months. Escalating theatrics each cycle.
Welcome to Meridian
Meridian Academy sits mid-district in Sector-12, between the Aoi-machi commercial core and the Sunfield Terrace agricultural belt. The student body is fully hybrid, and nobody stops class to stare at someone else's ears.
The club lives in the West Building, third floor, near the library annex. Its door sign says to knock. They mean it this time.

Student Council & Staff
Ginko — Student Council President. The Council's worst-kept secret is her unspoken tension with Kogane.
Kogane — Student Council VP, runner-up by bylaw. Tsuyu's older sister, and the one name Tsuyu would rather not hear.
Ogura-kōchō — Principal, Yagi. Smooth-worn horns, slow speech that means everything.
