Letter: Hearts That Will Someday Reach
Комментарии автора
I made it because I like dramas, human dramas, and ensemble dramas.
I tried to capture the diverse stories of NPCs and record their lives in the form of letters, rather than focusing only on the user character (PC). Of course, if you find an NPC you like during play, feel free to set them as a fixed NPC and continue building relationships and narratives.
(I felt sorry for a child without a place during the test play and took them in as an assistant🥹)
Due to the genre characteristics, the gameplay is generally calm and lyrical, even if you turn off the positive bias in Gemini 2.5 Pro.
- Positive Bias OFF: Mysterious or conflict-driven stories
- Positive Bias Normal: Touching or serene human dramas
If you feel the stories are too biased, I recommend changing the positive bias level as you play.
Even if you insert guidelines, it seems like an inherent issue of AI. Especially Gemini…🥲
Alternatively, you can momentarily reset the atmosphere with Opus series.
⚠️ Due to the high token count, it is recommended to use advanced models.
⚠️ In the creator widget, there’s a feature for enhancing memory for requests, so please make sure to use the widget function if possible!
Gemini 3.1 Pro (Positive Bias OFF)
Gemini 3.7 Flash (Positive Bias OFF/Normal Level)
Claude Opus series: Since the HTML is truncated, you need to input 'Continue the letter' in the next turn to see it😭
Recommended for use outside of writing letters/responding.
GPT-5.4: Command execution and HTML output verification. Outputs more reliably than Opus and Sonnet.
Lower-end models (Standard models)
- DeepSeek: HTML output is not reliable. Command execution feels hit-or-miss. It is the strongest in RP among the three general models.
- Donald 2: Outputs HTML most reliably. Command execution is just average. It is stronger in RP than Huey.
- Huey: HTML output is slightly unstable but executes commands best. Not recommended for RP.
Using standard models isn’t problematic, but there are times when the creator widget request items can be omitted unexpectedly, so advanced models are recommended if possible. The Sonnet series is not recommended due to continuous HTML truncation.
!Check / !check: Using this before the user impersonation is caught works better.
!Stable / !stable: Please write this at the top before sending fingerprints. This helps catch user impersonation.
!Summary / !sum: Briefly summarizes the conversation so far in chronological order. If you paste the summary in the user notes or automatic summary for long-term memory, it enhances the AI’s memory for long-term RP.
As the number of turns increases, the AI may suddenly veer off genre or intensify user impersonation. If you notice signs of user impersonation, please use the check and stable commands immediately.
If commands aren’t working well, redo the roll and write:
['!Command Name' must be executed.]
I considered adding a currency system but decided to omit it since the main focus of this simulation is experiencing diverse stories rather than making money. However, if you want debt repayment play, feel free to add a currency item in the widget.
Example of Fixed NPC User Note
Fixed NPC
• Marcus: Young man, a post office worker near the office who is friendly with the PC. Caring personality.
• Mary: Middle-aged woman, owner of a fabric store. Recently adopted a cat being cared for at the office after coming in to request ghostwriting.
Furthermore, if there are specific requests like 'I only want to take these kinds of requests or I don't want to take these kinds.', you can write it in the user notes.
If you want to step away from the letter request, please input that OOC in the narrative.
[OOC: Returning to the basic structure of the simulation (operating the office and various clients visiting)].
I wanted to preserve the essence of hand-written letters in this digital-age AI chat, hoping that it would be conveyed well🥲
During approximately 300 turns of testing, I enjoyed various stories from touching and sad ones to explosive anger and completely unreasonable requests. I hope this simulation also provides you with joyful memories🥰

If anyone wishes to add extra items, you can copy the widget as a user widget and add your items! I recommend using the 'letter request/reply storage' item, which is why I’m sharing it. If you use the user widget with 'letter request/reply storage', it’s fine to turn off the creator widget.
🏷 From the first turn, using GPT-5.4 for 2-3 turns seems to result in slightly longer output. The recommended models are primarily the Gemini series, and feel free to mix them according to your preferences.
📥 If too many letters stack up in the reply storage, the AI might forget the early requests. If replies are coming too slowly, please describe going directly to the post office to pick them up or that the postman has arrived in the narrative! I reinforced the summary commands to match the letter requests. Pasting the summary results into 'auto summary - overall narrative summary' or ‘user notes’ will help with the request process.
🎭 I tried out the recommended persona function, and it seems to write surprisingly well. I left the gender unspecified and put up one example. The name doesn’t turn out well even with guidelines… you’ll have to come up with one separately😂 Just use the references for status, personality, preferences, etc…!

Among the models tested, 3.7 Flash seems to create sentences or vocabulary that best match the atmosphere, but its limitations as a Flash model make it regrettable for solo use. If it weren't for sentence repetition and widget item omissions, it seems like it could be used solo for 5-10 turns!
If you have any questions or error reports, please leave a comment, and I will respond as soon as I can, although it may take some time. Thank you🥰
