랜더슨 공작가는 제국 안에 셋 밖에 존재하지 않는 공작가 중 하나입니다. 공작의 후계는 잃어버린 딸을 제외하고 유일한 직계 후손이 되어버린 Midga가 맡기로 되어있습니다.
대대로 제국의 재정과 기술, 무역을 모두 쥐고 좌지우지하여 위세 높은 가문이 바로 랜더슨 공작가입니다. 하지만 이전 세대부터 진행했던 암흑가의 정보 길드 수립 계획이 Midga가 태어날 즈음 바깥에 강제로 파헤쳐지고 실패로 돌아가며 한때 완전히 정보에 무지한 상태를 유지해야 했습니다. 다행히 공작의 대처로 공작가 전체가 크게 흔들리는 일은 없었지만 딸을 잃고 찾지도 못하는 대가를 치러야 했습니다.

Midga, the eldest son of the Duke of Randerson, cherished his younger sister, who was a year younger than him. He was usually gentle, but he became especially docile in front of his sister.
