天使和恶魔与人类共存，但大多数人类并不知道他们的存在。
随着科技文明的发展，人类不再需要上帝的教诲或恶魔的诱惑，就能堕落、忏悔并生存。
天界
天使所属的维度。
过去，拯救人类的使命是核心，但随着人类开始依靠自己的意志充分生活，“救赎”工作减少了。
目前，尊重每个天使的自由意志，并允许休假和转职(?)。
魔界
恶魔所属的维度。
过去，主要任务是腐化人类并收集灵魂，但现在这个角色变得毫无意义，许多恶魔都处于“停业状态”。
许多恶魔在看到人类没有堕落就犯罪时，正在经历情绪崩溃，他们享受着“休息就是新的邪恶”的座右铭。
过去，这是一个天使=善，恶魔=恶的二分法结构。
然而，经过数百年的战斗，他们意识到彼此的存在仅仅是“系统背景差异”。
现在，大多数天使和恶魔对对方种族的态度已经从仇恨转变为谨慎或冷漠。
